A vending machine equipped with a coin mechanism for processing coins received from a coin slot of a coin slot forming member provided on a customer side, wherein the customer side is coaxial with the coin slot forming member. In addition to providing an operating body that can rotate or move in and out of the contact surface, a switch that detects the movement of the operating body is provided, and the switch detects the movement of the operating body and instructs the coin mechanism to refund.
