[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Object of the Invention) The present application is installed to prevent rainwater from entering the outer surfaces of the upper and lower frames and the left and right vertical frames of the shoji of the rotating window installed in the outer wall opening of the building. Regarding improvement of tight materials.

The applicant has conventionally adopted a tight material having two contact pieces standing outwardly on the outer surface of the fitting portion having a trapezoidal cross section as shown in FIG. The figure shows a state in which the upper and lower frames of the rotary window shoji as shown in FIG. By the way, there is a complaint from the customer that the opening and closing operation is heavy, and this is intended to reduce the feeling of weight.

(Structure of the device) The reason why the opening and closing operation is heavy is due to the sliding friction resistance between the tight material and the window frame when opening and closing the shoji. This is because not only the surface of the frame is lightly touched but also the length is dimensioned so that the pressure increases between the contact piece and the frame material when opening and closing. Therefore, the applicant solved the problem by reducing the pressure between the tight material and the window frame surface at the time of opening and closing by improving the shape of the tight material as a means of reducing sliding friction generated at the time of opening and closing. is there. As a concrete technical idea, the contact piece is bent and deformed toward the fitting part around the connecting wall at the moment when it comes into contact with the surface of the window frame, and retracted toward the shoji side, that is, the fitting part of the tight material. This is a measurement of the pressure reduction on the contact surface.

First, the cross-sectional shape of the tight material will be described with reference to FIG. 1, which is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the tight material of the present application. The tight material is composed of a fitting portion 3 fitted to the shoji frame 1 and a tight portion 4 in contact with the window frame 2. Has become.

The fitting portion 3 is a hollow elongated member and has a trapezoidal cross section, and the left and right side surfaces are provided with fitting grooves 5 through which the C-shaped groove provided on the outer surface of the shoji frame is fitted. .

The tight portion 4 has an inverted U-shape, and a pair of left and right fin-shaped contact pieces 7 are opposed to each other from both end edges of the groove bottom 6 of the U-shaped groove.
Is hanging. The central band of the bottom surface of the trapezoidal fitting portion 3 and the central band of the groove bottom 6 of the tight portion 4 are integrally formed by a connecting wall 8 having a thickness T that is approximately three times the wall thickness t of the fin-shaped contact piece 7. Has been formed.

As shown in FIG. 1, on both sides of the connecting wall 8, the fin-shaped contact pieces 7, 7 are cavities 11, 11 which allow the fin-shaped contact pieces 7, 7 to bend and deform toward the fitting portion 3 around the connecting wall 8. Are formed.

The figure is an enlarged view, but the actual size of the example is 14.7 meters in height,
The tight portion 4 has a total width of 9 and the contact piece 7 has a thickness of 0.6, and the connecting wall 8 has a thickness of 2. A notch 9 is provided along the center line in the groove bottom of the tight portion 4 so that the contact piece 7 described later can be easily displaced upward in the drawing, that is, toward the frame 1. belongs to. The length of the connecting wall 8 is sufficient if the contact piece 7 is displaced as indicated by the dotted line.

When the tight material of the present application is attached to the shoji frame 1 of the rotating window to open and close the shoji, the contact piece 7 is connected to the connecting wall 8 at the moment when the contact piece 7 is pressed against the surface of the window frame 2 as shown by the dotted line in FIG. Since the contact piece 7 is flexed and deformed around the center and the contact piece 7 escapes toward the fitting portion 3, the pressure between the two does not increase. That is, it can be easily operated with a load of only light sliding friction.

According to the example, the load could be reduced to 1/2 or less as compared with the conventional load. Moreover, since the contact piece that has escaped to the fitting portion 3 side at the time of closing is restored as shown in FIG. 2B, there is no change in watertightness. Further, it is preferable to provide some notch 9 in the center line inside the groove bottom of the inverted U-shaped tight portion.

Further, the connecting wall 8 is about three times as thick as the contact piece 7 and has an extremely short overall length, so that the tight portion 4 is generally pressed by the opening / closing pressure, so that the tight portion 4 is subjected to indoor / outdoor directions. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the pair of left and right contact pieces 7 are not displaced to the fitting portion 3 side through the gaps 11, 11 as shown by the dotted line.

As described above, the load required for opening and closing the rotating window can be reduced extremely easily by using only the tight material structure. And the cost is about 1.
Compared with the effect of the whole window which requires 3 times, it is only a slight increase in cost.
