2. Description of the Related Art Heretofore, as such a coating material, a sheet has been used which is composed of a vinyl chloride resin layer having an embossed surface, and a foam layer is laminated if necessary. However, the sheet using vinyl chloride resin,
The sheet lacks flexibility and requires multiple steps in manufacturing. It is known that a polyolefin-based thermoplastic elastomer layer is extruded into a sheet shape and fused to a crosslinked foam sheet at the same time without using a vinyl chloride resin (see, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 1-14032).

For the production of the covering sheet composed of such a laminated sheet, a coextrusion molding method is usually adopted. By the way, the material and thickness of each layer constituting the covering sheet is of quality,
In terms of cost, it is required to select a material and set a thickness suitable for the characteristics of each layer. Therefore, in terms of cost, there is a tendency that the costly surface layer and the adhesive resin layer become thin, and the inexpensive base material layer becomes thick.

However, if only the cost-effective aspect is pursued and the base material layer is thickened, the melt viscosity and flow rate difference of the resin of each layer are adversely affected in the molding step, and the thickness accuracy of each layer cannot be obtained, or the resin layer The interface may be roughened and the appearance may be impaired. In addition, in order to make the base material layer thicker, a two-layer sheet having a surface layer and an adhesive layer is prepared in advance, and then the base material layer is extruded, and one side of the base material layer in a molten state is a two-layer sheet. A laminated sheet composed of a surface layer, an adhesive layer, a base material layer, and a foam, which is passed through a pair of rolls in a state of being laminated so that the other surface is in contact with the adhesive layer and the foam is in contact with the other surface, and is fused and integrated. There is a way to get. However, in this case, it is difficult to make a thin two-layer sheet, and even if it can be made thin, it is difficult to handle the sheet when it is laminated with the base material layer, and the two-layer sheet can be wrinkled before being laminated. There is.

The thermoplastic urethane elastomer used for the surface layer has rubber elasticity at room temperature, is plasticized at high temperature and can be molded in various ways, and generally has a rubber component having entropy elasticity in the molecule ( The soft segment) has a polyether polyester, a polycarbonate, and a segment constituted by a urethane bond as a molecular constraint component (hard segment) for preventing plastic deformation. It may have a partially cross-linked structure in the molecule in the moldable range, but it does not have a wide range of three-dimensional stitch structures.

The above-mentioned thermoplastic urethane elastomer preferably has rubber elasticity at room temperature in order to exhibit abrasion resistance, and particularly preferably has a glass transition point in the range of -50 to 20 ° C. When the glass transition point is -50 ° C or lower, the strength is insufficient and the scratch resistance is lowered, and when the glass transition point is higher than 20 ° C, the glass is hard and the flexibility is lowered.

Further, the surface layer may contain elastic fine particles. By containing the elastic fine particles, fine irregularities are formed on the surface, and a matte state is obtained, resulting in a very soft touch and soft touch. The elastic fine particles are those having a property of recovering the shape by elasticity after pressurizing until the shape is deformed, and then releasing the pressure, for example, polyurethane, acrylic resin (preferably acrylic-urethane resin), polystyrene, The styrene-isoprene copolymer may be used, but those which do not undergo plasticization or decomposition depending on extrusion conditions are preferable.

The shape of the elastic fine particles is not limited to a spherical shape, and non-spherical particles obtained by means such as freeze pulverization can be used, and the maximum particle size distribution is preferably in the range of 1 to 100 μm. If the particle size is less than 1 μm, the unevenness of the surface is too small, and thus the suede feeling (soft touch feeling) cannot be sufficiently obtained on the obtained sheet, and if the particle size exceeds 100 μm, the surface of the sheet when stretched The cracks are likely to occur.

If the amount of the elastic fine particles added is less than 20 parts by weight, the unevenness of the surface of the sheet is poor and a sufficient suede feeling cannot be obtained. If it exceeds 150 parts by weight, the surface of the sheet is cracked when stretched. Is likely to occur. Therefore, the addition amount is preferably 20 to 150 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the resin.

An example of the method for producing the covering sheet of the present invention will be described. Extruding a resin to be a base material layer of a foamed sheet by an extruder, stacking a sheet-shaped foam on one surface when the resin extruded is in a molten state, and passing it between a pair of pressure rolls A foamed sheet in which a foam is laminated and integrated on a material layer is obtained. When the adhesion between the base material layer of the foamed sheet and the foam is poor, a primer layer or an adhesive layer may be provided in advance on the surface of the foamed material on the base material layer side.

Next, the resin to be the surface layer, the adhesive layer and the base material layer constituting the laminated sheet is melted respectively by three extruders equipped with a feed block and a mold, and simultaneously extruded and laminated in a molten state. To obtain a laminated sheet. When at least the base material layer of the laminated sheet is in a molten state, the base material layer of the foamed sheet is superposed on the base material layer of the laminated sheet in the melted state, and is passed between a pair of pressure-bonding rolls. The base materials of the sheet are fused together.

In the molten state, the base layer of the laminated sheet is co-extruded together with the surface layer and the adhesive layer on the assumption that the thickness ratio of the base layer to the total thickness of the surface layer and the adhesive layer is not large, and the base layer of the foamed sheet Since the layers are stuck together to be laminated and integrated, a resin having an excellent appearance can be obtained without roughening the interface of the resin layer. Furthermore, since the base material layer can be made thick and the thickness ratio of the base material layer to the other layers can be made large, a product advantageous in terms of cost can be obtained. Further, since the surface layer is mainly composed of thermoplastic urethane elastomer, abrasion resistance and flexibility can be obtained.
