In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 6, the cam 23 has a plurality of stop claws 23a and 23b formed on the outer peripheral edge thereof at predetermined intervals and is adjacent to the stop claws 23a and 23b. Stop claws 2 are formed by forming projecting operating claws 23c and 23d.
3a and 23b engage with the engaging end 28 of the ratchet 24 as the footrest 19 rotates in the use position direction, and gradually lock the excessive rotation of the footrest 19 to engage the footrest 19 at a predetermined use angle. The operating pawls 23c and 23d
Corresponding to the operation in the use position direction or the storage position direction, the stop claws 23a and 23b of the cam 23 are separated from the engagement end 28 of the ratchet 24, or the engagement end 28 is engaged with the stop claws 23a and 23b. It operates so as to cause it. The ratchet 24 is configured such that an elastic member 25 such as a coil spring makes a swinging motion (in the directions of arrows R and L) within a predetermined angle range about a rotation shaft 26 thereof. When the ratchet 24 moves to the right side of the extension line connecting the elastic member 25 mounting position and the rotation shaft 26 of the ratchet 24 to the right side, the state of being biased in the right side rotation direction is maintained, and the left side When the ratchet 24 is moved, it is configured so as to maintain the biased state in the leftward rotation direction. Thus, in the storage position of the footrest 19, as shown in FIG. 7, the ratchet 24 is located on the right side. Footrest from this position
When 19 is rotated in the use position direction (arrow R direction), the operating claw 23c of the ratchet 24 is rotated counterclockwise in the drawing (arrow R direction).
The engaging claw 23c hooks the engagement pin 27 of the ratchet 24, rotates the ratchet 24 clockwise (direction of arrow L), and rotates the engagement end 28 of the ratchet 24 toward the cam 23 (direction of arrow L). As shown in FIG. 8, the engaging end 28 of the ratchet 24 is engaged with the first stop pawl of the cam 23 on the footrest 19 side.
The rotation of the footrest 19 can be stopped by engaging with the 23a to maintain the deployment angle of the footrest 19. Further, when it is desired to change from the use angle to the second-stage locking claw 23b, the footrest 19 is lifted slightly upward, and the locking end of the ratchet 24 is formed on the slope of the second-stage stopping claw 23b of the cam 23. 28 to arrow R
By pressing in the direction, the engagement end 28 of the ratchet 24 is separated from the engagement position with the stop pawl 23a, the ratchet 24 is engaged with the second-stage stop pawl 23b, and the footrest 19 can be held slightly upward ( (Fig. 8). Reverse footrest 19 to legrest 10
In the case of storing in the ratchet, the operating claw 23d of the cam 23 rotates in the clockwise direction (the direction of arrow L) in the drawing, the engagement pin 27 of the ratchet 24 is hooked, and this is rotated in the counterclockwise direction (the direction of arrow R), The engaging end 28 of 24 is separated from the cam 23 (arrow R
Direction) and the tension of the elastic member 25 allows the cam 23 to be maintained at that position.
