Due to the tension of the spring 7d, the head-up cam plate 8a is always in contact with the head-up cam plate 8a, and the head-up cam plate 8a is in contact with the cam surface of the head-up cam 8b. Therefore, the recording head 6 supported by the head assembly 7 is inserted into the container 5 from the position retracted to the outside of the container 5 as the head arm 7b swings by the rotation of the head-up motor 8d. It can be moved to a position where it comes into contact with the surface of the magneto-optical disk.

The shutter lock of the cartridge is released and the shutter is opened. From this state, when the container 5 is swung and placed on the upper surface of the chassis 2, the spindle 3 protruding on the upper surface of the chassis 2 engages with the central hub of the magneto-optical disk.

When not in use or when reproducing the magneto-optical disk 9, the head-up motor 8d rotates to swing the head-up cam plate 8a, so that the tip of the head arm 7b moves from the surface of the magneto-optical disk 9. Has been separated. As a result, the recording head 6 supported by the head assembly 7 remains held at a position separated from the disk surface of the magneto-optical disk 9. Thus, with respect to a desired track position on the disk surface of the magneto-optical disk 9, the light beam from the optical pickup 4 is irradiated, the return light is detected by the optical pickup 4, and the information recorded on the magneto-optical disk 9 is detected. Regeneration can take place.

The surface of the disk 9 is approached. As a result, the recording head 6 supported by the head assembly 7 comes into contact with the disk surface of the magneto-optical disk 9.

It is given by the elastic force of c. Therefore, a predetermined modulation magnetic field is applied by the recording head 6 to a desired track position on the magneto-optical disk 9, and the light beam from the optical pickup 4 is intermittently applied to the disk surface of the magneto-optical disk 9. Is irradiated. Thus, the desired track of the magneto-optical disk 9 can be recorded by thermomagnetic recording.
The desired information is recorded.

At this time, in the magneto-optical disc 9, the ejection lever 5c provided in the container 5 pushes the cartridge of the magneto-optical disc 9 in the ejection direction by a predetermined distance based on the tension of the ejection spring 5d. Is discharged. Thus, the user can easily take out the cartridge of the magneto-optical disk 9 that has been slightly ejected from the opening of the container 5 and take it out.

Based on the mechanical or electrical discriminating means of, and the output signal from this discriminating means,
Only in the case of the recording / reproducing magneto-optical disk, the head-up mechanism 8 for bringing the recording head 6 into contact with the disk surface of the magneto-optical disk 9 is required.

In order to prevent the user from forcibly swinging the container 5 on the chassis, the mechanism for locking the container 5 in the mounted state on the chassis 2 until the head-up completion is confirmed. Will also be needed. Therefore, there is a problem that the cost becomes higher.

The support of this rotating cam remains pushed out of the container by the contour of this magneto-optical disk. Therefore, the head assembly is separated from the magneto-optical disk by the tip portion of the rotary cam. Thus, the recording head attached to the tip of the head assembly is held at the retracted position outside the passage of the magneto-optical disk.

Therefore, the slide base plate 19 causes the rotary cam 20 to rotate counterclockwise in FIG. 2, and the head-up spring 21 causes the head arm 16b and the support member 16c of the head assembly 16 to rotate again due to the counterclockwise rotation of the rotary cam 20. Push upwards. Thus, the recording head 15 is the container 1

The tip of the magneto-optical disk 26 contacts the bent portion 19c of the slide cam plate 19 while deforming the ejection lever 23. Further, when the magneto-optical disk 26 is inserted, the slide cam plate 19 slides with respect to the slide base plate 18 in the inserting direction of the magneto-optical disk 26. Up to. Therefore, the recording head is held at the retracted position. Thus, based on the outer shape of the magneto-optical disk, that is, the presence / absence of a recording head insertion slot, the recording head is normally rotated by a rotating cam when not in use, when the magneto-optical disk is inserted / removed, and when the read-only magneto-optical disk is inserted. The head-up portion of (1) retracts to the outside of the path of the magneto-optical disk. Therefore, when the magneto-optical disc is inserted or removed or the read-only disc is inserted, the recording head contacts the outer shape of the magneto-optical disc,
It will not be damaged. Therefore, a highly reliable recording head lifting device can be provided.

It can be done on the basis of elasticity.
Therefore, a driving means for moving the recording head to the recording position is not necessary, and the completion of the insertion of the magneto-optical disk allows the recording to be performed immediately without waiting time.
Further, since the recording / reproducing magneto-optical disc is discriminated by inserting the support portion of the rotary cam into the recording head inserting slot of the recording / reproducing magneto-optical disc, it is not necessary to provide a discriminating means. Therefore, the structure is simple, the parts cost and the assembly cost are reduced, and the entire size is reduced.

However, the recording head will not be damaged, and the magneto-optical disk will be forcibly ejected even in the event of power failure or battery exhaustion. When the slide member is biased by the spring toward the magneto-optical disk insertion side, the slide member always inserts the magneto-optical disk cartridge in accordance with the magneto-optical disk insertion operation when the magneto-optical disk is inserted. It will surely slide while contacting the tip of the.

When the head-up portion is urged so as to separate the head assembly from the magneto-optical disk, the recording head is magneto-optical. At any position in the radial direction of the disk, the recording head at the tip of the head assembly is reliably moved toward or away from the disk surface by the swing of the head-up portion of the rotary cam.
