Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 シガレット硬箱の蓋を閉じ位置に保持してお
くための保持フラップの傷みを少なくすること。 【構成】 箱部分５２とこれに蝶番８０づけられた蓋部
分５４とを有し、前記箱部分内に配置されてこの箱部分
の上端を越えて上方へ突出している内方枠５６を有し、
箱部分並びに蓋部分の垂直隅５８は丸められており、内
方枠の前方の丸められた垂直隅６２には一体的な保持フ
ラップ６４が形成されており、この保持フラップ６４は
横方向へ外方へ突出していて閉じ位置の蓋部分の側壁と
摩擦接触するようになっており、前記蓋部分の側壁６８
は内方パネルと外方パネルとからなるシガレット硬箱に
おいて、蓋が開閉する時に前記内方パネルの前縁７４が
前記保持フラップの側縁６６に接触しないように前記前
縁７４を配置した。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】本発明は蝶番づけられた蓋を有する板紙製
容器に関する。
【０００２】蝶番づけられた蓋を有する板紙製容器は、
いわゆるシガレット硬箱の如く従来からあり、例えば米
国特許第４７５３３８３号等において開示されている通
りである。この板紙製容器を本明細書に添付の図３乃至
図５に示す。この容器はシガレットを入れるように設計
されていて、ボール紙素材から組み立てられて箱部分６
とこの箱部分に一体的に蝶番づけられた蓋８とを有して
いる。別の内方枠１０が前記箱部分６の内側に接着され
ていて箱部分６の上方縁を越えて突き出ている。この容
器の四つの垂直な隅１２は丸められた形状になされてい
る。蓋を閉じた状態に保つべく箱部分と蓋との間に十分
な摩擦を提供するために、箱部分は一対の保持フラップ
１４を含んでいる。この保持フラップは内方枠１０の前
方隅１２に沿って延びている。
【０００３】各保持フラップ１４は内方枠１０の前方隅
１２に、この隅１２より横方向へ突出するように、切り
込みを入れることにより形成されている。これら保持フ
ラップ１４の外方縁１９は蓋８を完全に閉じた状態に摩
擦的に保持すべく蓋の側壁１８の内面に対接するように
なされている。蓋の各側壁１８は互いに重ねられた外方
パネル２０と内方パネル２２とからなる。前記特許によ
ると、内方パネル２２の前縁２４がそれぞれの保持フラ
ップ１４の後方に係合して保持フラップ１４が横方向外
方へ突出されるようにしている。
【０００４】保持フラップ１４の外方縁１９は、使用す
ると短期間で、ほぐれてしまい、少なくとも美観の点で
好ましくないということが認められている。特にシガレ
ット箱が装飾的な（例えば色をつけられた）材料の外側
箔層で保持フラップが被覆されているタイプのものであ
るならば前記のほぐれは特に好ましくないのである。な
ぜならば、そのほぐれは外側箔層の剥離となるからであ
る。
【０００５】本発明者は、前縁２４の下端２６（図５参
照）により形成された鋭い角部が、蓋８が開閉される毎
に、保持フラップの外方縁１９を横切ってこする時に外
方縁１９のほぐれが生ぜしめられるということを認識し
たのである。このようなこすれが保持フラップの急速な
ほぐれおよび／又は層の剥離の原因となるのである。
【０００６】上述の短所は本発明により除去される。本
発明によればシガレット硬箱は箱部分と、この箱部分と
一体的に形成されて後方蝶番軸線のまわりで箱部分に対
して枢動できる蓋部分とからなり、内方枠が箱部分内に
配置されており、この内方枠は箱部分の上端よりも上方
へ突き出ていて蓋部分により開閉され、前記箱部分およ
び蓋部分の垂直な前方隅は丸められており、前記内方枠
も前記箱部分および蓋部分の前方隅と合致する丸められ
た前方隅を有し、前記蓋部分は一対の側壁を含み、これ
ら側壁は相互に係合された内方パネルと外方パネルとか
らなり、内方枠の各前隅は保持フラップを有し、この保
持フラップは内方枠に一体片として形成されて横方向へ
外方へ延び、この保持フラップの外方端は閉じられた蓋
の側壁の外方パネルの内面と摩擦的に対接するようにな
され、蓋の側壁の内方パネルは交差する底縁と前縁を有
し、蓋部分の開閉の間に前記前縁が保持フラップと接触
しないように保持フラップの後方に配置されていること
を特徴としている。
【０００７】以下図１および図２を参照して本発明を詳
細に説明する。
【０００８】本発明によるシガレット硬箱５０は箱部分
５２および一体的な蓋５４とからなる。これら箱部分お
よび蓋はボール紙のような紙素材から形成されている。
内方枠５６も又紙から形成されている。この内方枠５６
は箱部分の内側に接着されていて普通の態様で箱部分の
上端より上方へ突出している。この内方枠５６を示すた
めに図１では蓋の一部が破断されている。箱部分５２と
蓋５４は丸められた二つの垂直前方隅５８および丸めら
れた二つの垂直後方隅６０を呈するように形状づけられ
ている。内方枠５６は箱部分と蓋の前方隅５８と合致す
る丸められた隅６２（一つのみが図示されている）を有
する形状になされている。
【０００９】図１および図２においては箱の垂直前方隅
の一つのみが図示されているが、他の垂直前方隅も同じ
形状であるということを理解されたい。
【００１０】内方枠５６は一対の保持フラップ６４（一
つのみが図示されている）を有している。この保持フラ
ップは内方枠５６の隅６２に作られたスリットにより形
成される。各保持フラップは横方向に外方へ延びてお
り、保持フラップ６４の外側縁６６が蓋５４の側壁６８
の内方面に対して摩擦的に対接する。勿論、この摩擦的
対接は蓋が閉じられている時であり、保持フラップ６４
は蓋５４を完全に閉じられた状態に保持している。蓋５
４が閉じられると、空白区域６９が図２に示すように各
保持フラップ６４と保持フラップの前の蓋との間に形成
される。
【００１１】各側壁６８は外方パネル７０と内方パネル
７２とからなる。これらパネルは互いに重ねられて接着
剤により互いに保持されている。外方パネル７０は蓋の
前パネルを形成するブランクの一部７１と一体的であ
る。パネル７０，７１の間の交差区域は丸められた隅５
８を規定している。
【００１２】内方パネル７２は前縁７４および下縁７６
を含んでいる。前縁７４と下縁７６は互いに交差して角
部７８を形成している。前縁７４はそれぞれの保持フラ
ップ６４から後方へ十分な距離だけ間隔を置かれてい
る。前記の十分な距離とは開状態（図１に一点鎖線で示
された状態）と閉状態（図１に実線で示された状態）と
の間を蝶番軸線８０のまわりに蓋が枢動する間に、角部
７８を含めて前縁７４が保持フラップ６４と接触しない
ようにするのを確実にする距離を言う。図１の破線は蓋
の枢動の間の角部７８の移行の径路を示している。
【００１３】角部７８の枢動半径の長さ（すなわち、蝶
番軸線８０から角部７８までの距離）を最小にするため
に、内方パネル７２の底縁７６は、蝶番軸線８０と角部
７８の中間における場所８４において始まり、外方パネ
ル７０の底縁８２に関して垂直にそれている。このよう
にパネル７０の底縁８２に関して角部７８の位置を上昇
させることにより、枢動半径の長さが減少される（その
枢動半径は蝶番軸線８０と同じ高さに配置されたとき最
小である）。好ましくは、角部７８は底縁８２と蝶番軸
線８０との間の高さに配置されている。
【００１４】本発明によれば蓋５４を開閉しても保持フ
ラップ６４の外方縁６６のほぐれ又は層の剥離を生ぜし
めないということが認められよう。なぜならば、蓋の側
壁の内方パネル７２の前縁７４が保持フラップ６４に接
触しないからである。
【００１５】本発明をその好ましい具体例について説明
したが、当業者には、特許請求の範囲に記載した発明の
要旨からそれることなく述べられていない修正、置き換
え、削除、付加を行うことが出来よう。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 箱部分並びにこの箱部分に一体的に形成
    されて箱部分に対して後方蝶番軸線のまわりで枢動でき
    る蓋部分、前記箱部分内に配置され前記蓋部分により開
    閉されるように箱部分の上端を越えて上方へ突出してい
    る内方枠、前記箱部分並びに蓋部分は丸められた垂直前
    隅を含んでいること、および前記内方枠は前記箱部分並
    びに蓋部分の前記前隅と合致する丸められた垂直前隅を
    含んでいること、前記蓋部分５４は重なった内方パネル
    と外方パネルからなる一対の側壁を含んでいること、前
    記内方枠の前記前隅の各々は内方枠から形成された保持
    フラップを含んでいてこの保持フラップは前記蓋が閉状
    態にある時にそれぞれの側壁の外方パネルの内方面に保
    持フラップの外端が摩擦的に対接するように横方向に外
    方へ延びていること、各内方パネルは交差する前方縁と
    底縁を含んでいること、および、前記前縁はそれぞれの
    保持フラップの後方に、蓋部分の開閉の間に前記前縁が
    保持フラップと接触しないように保持フラップから十分
    な距離を置いて配置されていることを特徴とするシガレ
    ット硬箱。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記内方パネルの前記底縁は前記外方パ
    ネルの前部分に関して上方にそれた前部分を含んでお
    り、前記それは前記内方パネルの前記前縁および底縁の
    交差の点よりも前記蝶番軸線に近くになるように間隔を
    置かれた場所で始まっている請求項１のシガレット箱。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記内方パネルの前記前縁と底縁は交差
    して鋭い隅を形成している請求項１又は２のシガレット
    箱。
