いる。For example, in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 54-38419 and Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-24324, a first shaft and a second shaft, each of which has spline teeth at the ends, are coaxially connected with the ends facing each other. There is disclosed a spline shaft coupling. Further, in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 54-38419, further, a seal ring-shaped elastic member is interposed in a radial gap between the spline shaft joint and the first shaft and the second shaft. It is described that the rattling between the second shaft and the spline shaft coupling is mitigated. Further, in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 57-24324, springs are arranged between both ends of the spline shaft coupling and the outer portions of the first shaft and the second shaft, and similarly, the first shaft and the second shaft are provided. It is described that the rattling between the shaft and the spline shaft coupling is reduced.

なる。The spline shaft coupling transmits rotation between the first shaft and the second shaft while allowing relative movement in the axial direction.
For this reason, spline teeth extending in the axial direction are provided respectively, and there is a backlash in meshing the spline teeth. However, since the backlash of spline shaft couplings is quite large, noise during rotation operation is large,
There is a problem that the tooth surface is easily worn. Since the techniques described in both of the above publications do not regulate the relative movement in the circumferential direction between the spline shaft coupling and the first shaft and the second shaft, noise due to collision of tooth surfaces is reduced. Can not do it. Further, if the backlash is reduced, the noise due to the collision of the tooth surfaces can be reduced, but the degree of freedom of relative movement between the spline shaft coupling and the first shaft and the second shaft becomes small, and high. Machining accuracy is required.

Being biased, the spline teeth of these central and end blocks circumferentially sandwich the spline teeth of each of the first and second shafts, resulting in substantially zero backlash during operation. It can reduce noise and wear.

Therefore, both ends of the central block 10 have outer surfaces removed. The outer surface small-diameter fitting portion 26 is formed, and the end portions of the respective end blocks 12 and 14 have the inner surface large-diameter fitting portion 28 with the inner surface removed.
Has become. The outer surface of the central block 10 has a small diameter fitting part.
26 is formed at the outermost end, and the inner portion thereof is an annular groove portion 30 in which the outer surface is further deleted to form an annular groove. The combined length of the outer surface small diameter fitting portion 26 and the annular groove portion 30 is substantially equal to the length of the inner surface large diameter fitting portion 28 of each end block 12, 14.
An annular space is formed between the inner surface of the inner surface large diameter fitting portion 28 and the outer surface of the annular groove portion 30.

Is formed up to the inner surface of the outer surface small diameter fitting portion 26 at the outermost end, and extends substantially continuously with the spline teeth T of the end blocks 12 and 14. The end 16a of the drive shaft and the end 18a of the driven shaft extend from the end blocks 12,14 into the central block 10, respectively, and the spline teeth t of the drive shaft 16 and the driven shaft 18 respectively end blocks 12,14. The 18 spline teeth t are sandwiched from both sides in the circumferential direction. Therefore, the backlash between each spline tooth of the spline shaft coupling and each spline tooth of the drive shaft 16 and the driven shaft 18 becomes substantially zero, and noise and wear can be reduced. Therefore, it is not necessary to make the processing accuracy of the spline shaft joint unnecessarily strict, and if the biasing force of the tension ring 36 is excluded, there will be a loose meshing relationship with backlash, and the axes of the drive shaft 16 and driven shaft 18 will shift Even if it is, it can be connected without bending the shaft,
It is extremely effective in preventing damage to the bearings in high-speed rotating bodies such as gas turbines without increasing shaft vibration.

Extending from the partial block into the central block and the spline teeth of the first axis and the second axis are arranged to engage together with the spline teeth of the end block and the central block, respectively Since the elastic means for urging the end block relative to each other in the circumferential direction is provided, the central block and the end block are urged relative to each other in the circumferential direction by the elastic means so that the first shaft and the second block The effect of being able to reduce noise and wear by sandwiching each spline tooth of the shaft in the circumferential direction and making the backlash substantially zero.
