(57) [Summary] [Purpose] To eliminate various inconveniences caused by temperature rise. [Structure] An image is recorded on a recording material using a recording head (110B, C, M, Y) that ejects ink droplets according to data, and has a temperature sensor. If the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is in the first temperature range before the start of recording, the print start command is not accepted and a new recording operation is not started. Further, the temperature warning is displayed on the display (550). Further, when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor during the recording operation falls within the second temperature range higher than the first temperature range, the recording operation is interrupted. And indicator (5
It is displayed that the temperature is abnormal due to 50).

Here, the drain tank 800 has a shape that matches the inclination of the holding member 852 and is held by this. The lever 854 is rotatably connected to the holding member 852 in the direction of arrow A with a size (illustrated by a one-dot chain line) whose tip matches the upper surface of the drain tank 800, and a holding member 85 is provided by a magnet member 853.
Contact with 2 is guaranteed. In this state, when a force is applied to the drain tank 800 in the direction of the arrow B in the drawing due to vibration or the like, the holding tank 852 attempts to move in the direction along the inclination of the holding member 852, but there is a lever 854 above and a rotation direction (illustration). Since it is a biting direction with respect to the direction of arrow A), the drain tank 800 does not come off from the position shown in the figure. Regarding replacement of the drain tank 800, it is sufficient to rotate the lever 854 first and then remove the drain tank 800 as described above.

24B engages, the rotor 424 rotates counterclockwise around the shaft 432, and the state shown in FIG. 19A is obtained (however, in FIG. 19, the direction is opposite to that in FIG. 20). In this state, the flap 400 is rotated in the closing direction to
When the position shown in (C) is reached, the ear portion of the rotor 424 and the bent portion 422A of the flap stay 422 engage with each other, and this engagement causes further rotation of the flap 400 (counterclockwise direction in the figure). Is blocked. That is, at this time, the flap 400 is locked and the delivery port 308A is opened,
In this state, the recorded recording paper P can be delivered.
Since the flap 400 is locked even if the operator accidentally pushes the flap 400 or vibrates at the time of this delivery, the delivery port 308A is not closed.

It corresponds to the moving direction of 70. On the other hand, the second receiving roller 173 is fixed on the lower surface of the movable table 170 so as to face the first receiving roller 164 when the movable table advances (moves to the recordable position). The axis of the roller 173 is orthogonal to the axis of the first receiving roller 164. Further, the width of the front guide rail 162 is substantially equal to the diameter of the front roller 171 at the front portion thereof. Rear guide rail 1
The width of 63 is substantially equal to the diameter of the rear roller 172 at its rear portion and larger than the diameter of the rear roller 172 at its front portion. Therefore, since the front roller 171 is constrained and fixed by the front portion of the front guide rail 162 and the rear roller 172 is positioned at the front portion of the rear guide rail 163 when the movable table is moved forward,
The front roller 171 can be swung in a horizontal plane. At this time, the first receiving roller 16 on the fixed base side
Since the second receiving roller 173 on the movable table side is placed on the table 4, the swinging is performed more smoothly by these. Further, by this swinging, the positioning work of the recording head assembly 130 fixed to the movable table 170 with respect to the reference surface of the sheet feeding unit side of the assembly 130 can be performed very easily and smoothly.

The lock mechanism 183 for fixing to is fixed.
The lock mechanism 183 includes a solenoid 184 and a lock lever 185 that is driven by the solenoid and rotates in a vertical plane. The lock lever 185 has a groove 185A formed on the upper side of the rotation tip thereof. Lock lever 18
Reference numeral 5 projects to the upper surface side of the fixed base 160 through an opening 166 formed in the fixed base 160. An engagement pin 174 is fixed to the lower surface side of the movable table 170. The engagement pin 174 is positioned so as to reach directly above the pivoting tip of the lock lever 185 when the movable table 170 is retracted. Therefore, by operating the solenoid 184 when the movable table 170 is retracted, the engagement pin on the movable table 170 side is engaged with the groove 185A of the pivoting tip of the lock lever 185. As a result, the movable base 170 (and therefore the recording head assembly 130) is securely fixed and supported by the fixed base 160 (for example, the recording head assembly 130 is surely fixed to the recording head unit when the apparatus is transported).

32 surely contacts the reference surface 306B of the paper feeding unit 300. Further, in this state, the platen 392 is pressed by another positioning protrusion 134 on the front surface of the recording head assembly 130 by the spring force, and the recording surface of the recording paper P regulated by the platen 392 is the nozzle of the assembly 130. The distance between the surface of and the recording head can be maintained properly,
Recording can be stably performed on the recording paper P. Further, while the fan 138 is continuously operated, the heater for heating the recording head is controlled based on the detection result of the temperature sensor provided in the recording head assembly 130 so as to keep the temperature in the assembly 130 constant.

When the temperature detected by the operating temperature sensor enters the second temperature range, which is higher than the first temperature range, the recording operation is interrupted and the second warning is displayed. In the case of a high temperature state that is close to the temperature to be interrupted, it is possible to prevent the start of a new recording operation and distinguish whether the detected temperature is in the first temperature range or the second temperature range, It is possible to improve the usability of the operator without wasting the recording material.
