The central axis (CL) of the portion of the conveyor belt (1) that is rolled into a pipe shape is so that the central portion and both side edges of (1) extend evenly by the pulling force of the pulley (2) in the front portion. Pulley (2) at the front that starts contact with the extended line with the unfolded conveyor belt (1)
It is aligned with the apex (2a) of the outer circumference of the above or is located below the apex (2a) (see, for example, JP-A-63-262320).

Since both side edges of the conveyor belt (1) are not continuous with each other and are simply superposed,
The stresses on both edges occur independently of each other, and the stress distribution becomes non-uniform.

There is a risk that the portion will be offset to the side at the point of contact with the pulley (2).

However, the load is biased or the roller is damaged. In such a case, the belt running adjustment by the self-aligning roller does not work properly, the side edge of the conveyor belt (1) contacts the guide frame (8), etc. and is damaged or the side edge is folded back. There is a problem.

(a) By arranging the guide rollers in the trough conversion unit so as to be away from the imaginary straight line connecting the outer peripheries of both pulleys, the conveyor belt is once bent outward and both side edges are Since it tries to wind around the pulley or move away from the pulley while being equally tense,
In the unlikely event that the load shifts or the guide rollers are damaged, or if there is twisting in the part that is rolled into a pipe, they are naturally corrected in the trough conversion section, and the conveyor belt shifts to one side. It is prevented from being folded or folded. Therefore, there is no possibility that the side edge portion of the conveyor belt may come into contact with the guide frame or be damaged.
