体側の駆動部に連結し、複写機本体側の駆動部が駆動す
ると巻取軸が回転し、自動的にシール部材を剥離させる
ことができ、シール部材の引き剥ぎ忘れがなく、コピー

写機の現像装置において、前記補給口を封止するための
現像剤シール装置が設けられ、該シール装置は、前記補
給口の口壁に剥離可能に貼付された補給口シール部材
と、前記現像装置本体に回転自在に支持され前記シール
部材を巻取るための巻取軸と、該巻取軸を回転駆動させ
るための駆動部と、該駆動部を現像装置本体の複写機本
体への装着時に複写機本体側の駆動部に連結するための
連結手段と、前記複写機本体に装着された前記現像装置
本体が未使用状態のものか否かを検出する検出手段と、
該検出手段からの検出信号により前記巻取軸側の駆動部
を駆動制御する制御部とが設けられ、該制御部は、前記
複写機本体側の駆動部から前記巻取軸側の駆動部への駆
動力の伝達を断続するクラツチ機構と、前記検出手段に
よる未使用状態を検出したときから計時するタイマー手
段と、未使用状態検知後に前記クラツチ機構を接続して
前記複写機本体側の駆動部の駆動力を前記巻取軸側の駆
動部に伝達し前記タイマー手段の所定時間経過信号によ
り前記クラツチ機構を切断して前記巻取軸側の駆動部を
停止させる駆動部制御手段とが有せしめられたことを特
徴とする複写機の現像装置。1.
