Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.以下の特徴: (1)粒径(Sedigraphによって測定したe.s.d.)(a)少なく しとも95%が10マイクロメートルより細かい、37%以下が0.5マイクロ メートルより細かい、12%以下が0.2マイクロメートルより細かい、(b) 中央粒径:少なくとも0.70マイクロメートル、(c)2マイクロメートルよ り細かい%:0.5マイクロメートルより細かい%の比>2.0、 (2)表面積:12.5m2/gm以下(吸着物質としてN2を使用するBET 法)、 (3)粘度 (a)20rpm及び67〜68%固体で測定したブルックフィールド粘度:1 75cp以下 (b)1100rpm及び67〜68%固体で測定したハーキュレス粘度:ダイ ン終点、 (4)黒いガラス散乱 456nmでの散乱係数:≧100m2/Kg577nmでの散乱係数:≧80 m2/Kgを有する離層された含水カオリン粒子を含有して成る紙コーティング 顔料。 2.少なくとも75%の光沢(黒いガラス)を有する請求の範囲1記載の顔料。 3.20rpmでそして72%固体で100rpmで測定して300cp以下の ブルックフィールド粘度を有する請求の範囲1又は2記載の顔料。 4.請求の範囲1又は2又は3記載の顔料を含む水性スラリー。 5.請求の範囲1又は2又は3記載の顔料及び有機バインダーを含む水性紙コー ティング組成物。 6.請求の範囲1又は2又は3記載の顔料によってコートされた紙ウェブ。 7.(A)以下の特徴: (1)粒径(Sedigraphによって測定したe.s.d.)(a)2ミク ロン未満の%:40〜65%、0.2ミクロン未満:≦12%、 (b)2ミクロン未満の%:0.5ミクロン未満の%の比>2.1、 (2)表面積:12.0m2/gm以下(吸着物質としてN2を使用するBET 法)、 (3)構造秩序 (a)Hinckley指数:>0.90、(b)C軸結晶干渉性−(001) ピークの全幅半最大値測定−FWHM(001)≦0.26、(4)カチオン交 換容量−非分散−325メッシュ粗製物の上のpH4.0でのNa+吸看によっ て測定して:≦0.05ミクロ当量/m2を有する小砂を取られた−325メッ シュカオリン粗製物を供給すること、及び (B)以下の特徴: (1)粒径(Sedigraphによって測定したe.s.d.)(a)少なく とも95%が10マイクロメートルより細かい、37%以下が0.5マイクロメ ートルより細かい、12%以下が0.2マイクロメートルより細かい、(b)中 央粒径:少なくとも0.70マイクロメートル、(c)2マイクロメートルより 細かい%:0.5マイクロメートルより細かい%の比>2.0、 (2)表面積:12.5m2/gm以下(吸着物質としてN2を使用するBET 法)、 (3)構造秩序 (a)Hinckley指数:>0.90、(b)C軸結晶干渉性−(001) ピークの全幅半最大値測定−FWHM(001)≦0.26、(4)カチオン交 換容量−非分散−325メッシュ粗製物の上のpH4.0でのNa+吸着によっ て測定して:≦0.05ミクロ当量/m2を有する離層された生成物が生成され るまで粗製物に離層を施すこと、(B)粗製物に離層を施しそして、主な割合の 元の小冊子粒子が基底の(001)劈開に沿って別々の血小板中に分かれてしま った時にしかし血小板の顕著な摩滅が起きる前に離層を終了することを有して成 る含水カオリン顔料を作る方法。 8.(a)所定の粒径制御点での粒径分布における変化の速度がゼロに近づくか 、そして/又は(b)非常に細かな粒子(0.3ミクロン未満)のパーセントの 増加が認められる時に、離層を終了する、請求の範囲7記載の方法。 9.(A)以下の特徴: (1)粒径(Sedigraphによって測定したe.s.d.)(a)2ミク ロン未満の%:40〜65%、0.2ミクロン未満の%:≦12%、 (b)2ミクロン未満の%:0.5ミクロン未満の%の比>2.1、 (2)表面積:12.0m2/gm以下(吸着物質としてN2を使用するBET 法)、 (3)構造秩序 (a)Hinckley指数:>0.90、(b)C軸結晶干渉性−(001) ピークの全幅半最大値測定−FWHM(001)≦0.26、(4)カチオン交 換容量−非分散−325メッシュ粗製物の上のpH4.0でのNa+吸着によっ て測定して:≦0.05ミクロ当量/m2を有する小砂を取られた−325メッ シュカオリン粗製物を供給すること、及び (B)以下の特徴: (1)粒径(Sedigraphによって測定したe.s.d.)(a)少なく とも95%が10マイクロメートルより細かい、37%以下が0.5マイクロメ ートルより細かい、12%以下が0.2マイクロメートルより細かい、(b)中 央粒径:少なくとも0.70マイクロメートル、(c)2マイクロメートルより 細かい%:0.5マイクロメートルより細かい%の比>2.0、 (2)表面積:12.5m2/gm以下(吸着物質としてN2を使用するBET 法)、 (3)粘度 (a)20rpm及び67〜68%固体で測定したブルックフィールド粘度:1 75cp以下 (b)1100rpm及び67〜68%固体で測定したハーキュレス粘度:ダイ ン終点、 (4)黒いガラス散乱 456nmでの散乱係数:≧100m2/Kg577nmでの散乱係数:≧80 m2/Kgを有する離層された生成物が生成されるまで粗製物に離層を施すこと 、を有して成る含水カオリン顔料を作るための方法。 10.0.2ミクロン未満の粒子のカオリン粗製物中の含量が5%以下である、 請求の範囲7、8又は9記載の方法。
