Claims (20)
- 1.a)電気プラグを受け入れかつソケットへの該プラグの差し込みにより当該 プラグと電気的接続を形成することができるソケット;b)前記ソケット内に配 置された重度シーラント;c)前記プラグを受け入れる前記ソケットの側に反対 で該ソケットに取付けられ、前記プラグの差し込みによって転置されたあらゆる シーラントを受け入れるべく拡張しかっ前記差し込まれたプラグをシールすべく 転置に対抗する十分な力を供給する弾性的ダイアフラム;d)前記ダイアフラム 内の少なくとも一つの通路;e)前記少なくとも一つの通路を通りかつ前記ソケ ットに接続される少なくとも一つのワイヤ を備えていることを特徴とする環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ・レセプタク ル。
- 2.前記環境シーラントは、シリコーン・ゲルを備えていることを特徴とする請 求項1に記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ・レセプタクル。
- 3.前記シリコーン・ゲルは、約15グラムから約40グラムのヴォランド硬度 を有し、前記弾性的ダイアフラムは、約45グラムから約75グラムのショアー A硬度を有しているサントプレン・ラバーを備えていることを特徴とする請求項 2に記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ・レセプタクル。
- 4.前記ソケットは、前記少なくとも一つのワイヤに接続され、シリコーン・ラ バー粘着材で被覆された前部を有している少なくとも一つの電気コンタクトを更 に備えていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネ クタ・レセプタクル。
- 5.a)少なくとも一つの電導体を含んでおり、プラグを差し込むように受け入 れるソケット: b)少なくとも部分的に前記ソケットを充填し、前記プラグが前記ソケットに差 し込まれたときに前記ソケットから少なくとも部分的に転置される環境シーラン ト; c)前記ソケットに結合され、前記プラグが前記ソケットに差し込まれたときに 前記シーラントを格納する弾性的手段を備えていることを特徴とする環境的にシ ールされた電気コネクタ。
- 6.前記弾性的格納手段は、前記プラグがはずされたときに前記ソケット内に戻 すべく前記転置されたシーラントを更に付勢することを特徴とする請求項5に記 載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ。
- 7.前記ソケット内に連通する拡張スロットを更に含んでいることを特徴とする 請求項5に記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ。
- 8.前記拡張スロット内に転置インサートを更に含んでいることを特徴とする請 求項7に記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ。
- 9.前記少なくとも一つの導体は、前記コンタクト及び前記シーラントと結合を 形成しているコーティングで部分的に被覆されたコンタクトを備えていることを 特徴とする請求項5に記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ。
- 10.前記環境シーラントは、約15グラムから約50グラムのヴォランド硬度 を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ 。
- 11.前記環境シーラントは、約25グラムから約35グラムのヴォランド硬度 を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ 。
- 12.前記環境シーラントは、約12グラムから約22グラムのタックを有する ことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ。
- 13.前記環境シーラントは、脂肪族ウレタン及びスチレン・エチレン・ブチレ ン・スチレンのグループから選択された材料を備えていることを特徴とする請求 項5に記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ。
- 14.前記環境シーラントは、シリコーン・ゲルを備えていることを特徴とする 請求項5に記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ。
- 15.前記少なくとも一つの導体は、前記コンタクト及び前記環境シーラントと 結合を形成しているコーティングで部分的に被覆されたコンタクトを備え、前記 コーティングは、シリコーン・ラバー粘着材であることを特徴とする請求項14 に記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ。
- 16.前記少なくとも一つの導体は、前記格納手段の導体開口部を通っている複 数のワイヤを含んでいる複数の導体を備え、前記格納手段及び前記シーラントは 、前記導体開口部を環境的にシールすることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の環境 的にシールされた電気コネクタ。
- 17.前記弾性的格納手段は、約45グラムから約75グラムのショアーA硬度 を有している弾性的格納ダイアフラムを備えていることを特徴とする請求項5に 記載の環境的にシールされた電気コネクタ。
- 18.a)少なくとも一つのソケット電気コンタクトを含み、RJ11プラグを 差し込み的に受け入れるように構成されたRJ11ソケット;b)前記ソケット 電気コンタクトの前部を覆う粘着性コーティング;c)前記RJ11ソケット内 に配置され、前記粘着性コーティングと結合を形成しかつ覆う環境シーラント: d)前記ソケット電気コンタクトと電気接続を形成している少なくとも一つのプ ラグ電気導体を含み、前記RJ11ソケットに差し込まれるRJ11プラグを備 え、前記環境シーラントは、前記接続を環境的にシールすることを特徴とする環 境的にシールされたRJ11コネクタ。
- 19.ソケットの側の傾城でプラグを受け入れることができる電気ソケット及び プラグ接続をシールする方法であって、 a)前記プラグを受け入れることができる前記ソケットの側と反対な当該ソケッ トの側に、プラグを受け入れる領域に連通する弾性的ダイアフラムを装着し、 b)前記ソケットへの前記プラグの差し込みにより、ゲルシーリング材が前記弾 性的ダイアフラムに転置されて当該弾性的ダイアフラムが拡張して、前記ソケッ ト及びプラグ接続をシールすべく該ダイアフラムが該ゲルシーリング材上に付勢 背圧を供給するように、前記ソケット内に十分な量のゲルシーリング材を配置す る段階を具備することを特徴とする方法。
- 20.前記ゲルシーリング材を配置する段階は、a)ゲル充填固定治具上に、前 記ダイアフラムが装着されている前記ソケットをはずせるように取り付け、 b)前記ソケット及びダイアフラム内に未硬化のシリコーンゲルシーリング材を 配置し、 c)前記ソケット内に前記シリコーンゲルシーリング材を硬化し、d)前記ゲル 充填固定治具から前記ソケットを取り外す段階を具備することを特徴とする請求 項19に記載の方法。
