Claims (16)
- 1.実質的に短ポリオレフィン繊維からなる不織層であって、層平面中に、長さ 40〜100mm、強度が少なくとも1.2GPa、弾性率が少なくとも40G Paの実質的にランダムに配向した短繊維を有するフェルトであることを特徴と する不織層。
- 2.繊維が0.5〜12デニールの繊度を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載 の不織層。
- 3.繊維がクリンプされていることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の不織層 。
- 4.不織層が少なくとも40Jm2/kgの比エネルギー吸収を有することを特 徴とする請求項1〜3いずれか1項に記載の不織層。
- 5.不織層におけるポリオレフィン繊維が135℃でのデカリン中の固有粘度が 少なくとも5dl/gである線状ポリエチレンからなることを特徴とする請求項 1〜4いずれか1項に記載の不織層。
- 6.繊維の断面アスペクト比が2〜20であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5い ずれか1項に記載の不織層。
- 7.繊維の表面が、繊維のコロナまたはプラズマ処理、化学的官能化処理または 充填剤充填により修飾されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6いずれか1項に 記載の不織層。
- 8.一体にからみ合った、少なくとも2つの請求項1〜7いずれか1項に記載の 不織層からなる積層構造体。
- 9.一体にからみ合った、1つ以上の請求項1〜7いずれか1項に記載の不織層 と、1つ以上の織層からなる積層構造体。
- 10.少なくとも1つ以上の、請求項1〜7いずれか1項に記載の不織層または 請求項8または9記載の積層構造体からなる積層構造体。
- 11.積層構造体が10〜30mmの厚さを有することを特徴とする請求項10 記載の積層構造体。

- 13.繊維がクリンプ繊維である請求項12記載の方法。
- 14.ニードリングまたはハイトロエンタングリングによりからみ合わせを行う 請求項12または13記載の方法。
- 15.フェルト層の少なくとも延伸層を圧縮する請求項12〜14いずれか1項 に記載の方法。
- 16.請求項1〜5いずれか1項に記載の不織層、請求項6〜11いずれか1項 に記載の積層構造体または請求項12〜15いずれか1項に記載の方法によって 得ることのできる不織層を用いる防弾構造体。
