There is a method of forming a composite film at the time of spinning, but it is difficult to form a thin film in the case of the method (a), and in the case of the method (b),
It was difficult to form an extremely thin and uniform pinhole-free thin film. Further, in the method (c), the manufacturing method is very complicated and practically difficult to carry out.

In this case, in order to form a thin film,
It is necessary to control coating speed, solution concentration, viscosity, etc. If the concentration is too low, the viscosity will be low and the coating solution will enter the hollow fiber support more than necessary. On the contrary, if the concentration is high, excess coating solution will adhere to the hollow fiber surface, or when drying with hot air. There is a problem that the coating solution on the surface is nonuniformly disturbed. Further, after coating, the hollow fiber has to be dried without touching foreign matter until the coating layer is solidified, and therefore the drying distance is significantly lengthened. For example, if the time required for drying is 5 minutes, a coating speed of 10 m / min. Requires contactless drying over a distance of 50 m.

法に関するものである。As a result of intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors have found the present invention in which a thin film is uniformly formed on the outer surface of the hollow fiber. That is, in the present invention, when the coating solution is applied to the outer surface of the hollow fiber, the coating solution is placed in a container having an elastic body with open pinholes, and the hollow fiber is immersed in the coating solution in the container. After being guided to the outside from the pinhole of the elastic body and applying the coating solution to the outer surface of the hollow fiber, the hollow fiber is mixed with a solvent in the coating solution but not with a solute. The present invention relates to a hollow fiber coating method, characterized in that a coating layer is formed on the outer surface of the hollow fiber by doing the above.

Polymethacrylate ester, polyacrylonitrile,
It is produced using polyvinylidene chloride, polyvinylidene fluoride, cellulose, polyether sulfone, polysulfone and the like, and derivatives and blends thereof. The method for producing the hollow fiber support includes melt spinning, wet spinning, dry spinning, dry wet spinning, and the like, and it is applied depending on the material of the hollow fiber and the desired characteristics. In the hollow fiber support used in the present invention, the average diameter of the fine pores on the outer surface thereof is preferably 0.5 μm or less, and more preferably 0.1 μm or less. Average pore size is 1
When it is larger than μm, the coating solution applied on the surface of the hollow fiber often penetrates into the hollow fiber support,
It becomes difficult to form a uniform and extremely thin coating layer. Further, the high molecular weight polymer used for coating can also be used by dissolving the above substances in a solvent. The concentration of the coating solution can be arbitrarily selected depending on its viscosity, coating layer thickness and the like, but is usually 20% by weight or less, preferably 10% by weight or less. Also,
The pinhole diameter of the elastic body used in the present invention is preferably 1.5 times or less the outer diameter of the hollow fiber support, and preferably the outer diameter of the hollow fiber support or less. It is also possible to make the coating layers multi-layered by arranging this coating device in multiple stages in the length direction of the hollow fiber support.

Can be pressure-bonded to the outer periphery of the hollow fiber support with a uniform pressure. Therefore, a coating layer having a uniform thickness is formed on the outer surface of the hollow fiber support, and peeling of the coating layer from the surface is also suppressed. In addition, after coating the hollow fiber support, the solute in the coating solution on the surface can be rapidly solidified by being mixed with the solvent in the coating solution and leading into a liquid that is not mixed with the solute. Therefore, a long drying zone is unnecessary. Also, in production, even if water droplets or other liquids adhere to the surface of the hollow fiber support and adversely affect the subsequent coating process, the surface can be made to pass through the hole of another elastic body before being immersed in the coating solution. The upper drops can be removed. Further, if the coating device of the present invention is installed as part of the spinning process, continuous spinning to coating can be easily achieved. Further, it is possible to make the coating layers multi-layered by arranging the coating device in multiple stages in the length direction of the hollow fiber support.

Cellulose diacetate 3 wt% was used as a solute in the coating solution, and a mixed solvent of ethyl acetate / ethanol = 95/5 (by weight) was used as a solvent. When the N 2 permeability coefficient of the membrane was measured after coating, it was 0.29 ml / cm 2 · sec. · Atm, which was almost equal to the value in the uncoated state. This hollow fiber composite membrane seems to be missing most of the coating layer.
