Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a heat insulation effect from being deteriorated even under high humidity condition by providing a water swell type sealer at an outlet of an electric wire laid in an accomodation casing, and molding the water swell type sealer into substantially the same shape of that of the outlet of the electric wire. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerator comprises an outer box 1 and an inner box 2, a heat insulating member 3 with which both boxes are filled therebetween, an accomodation casing 7 provided on the back of the outer box 1 for accomodating electric parts, etc., a cover 10 for covering the accomodation casing 7 therewith, and an electric wire 11 laid from the accomodation casing 7 to a storage chamber and buried in the heat insulating member 3. A water swell type sealer 13 is provided at an outlet of the electric wire in the accomodation casing 7, and is molded into substantially the same shape as that of the outlet of the electric wire and is mounted to bind the electric wire 11. Hereby, even if condensation is produced on the electric wire 11 cooled in a freezing chamber 4 under high humidity condition, the water swell type sealer 13 is swollen owing to condensed water to close any gap between the electric wires 11, so that water is prevented from entering the heat insulating member 3.
