溝を設け、その凹溝の一方に防水性パッキン材を、他方
に導電性パッキン材を充填した技術が知られている。

材との密着面での電磁シールドが不完全であると共に、
屋外に設置して長期間経過するうちに、前記ケース本体
とパッキン材との密着面から毛細管現象によって雨水が
浸透し、導電材の腐食を招き、高周波信号の漏洩および
混入防止の効果が半減してしまう。又後者の技術は、本
体と蓋体との合着部にラビリンスを形成し、そのラビリ
ンス内にパッキン材を充填するものであるから、シール
性には優れるが、防水性パッキン材と導電性パッキン材
との二つのパッキン材を装着しなければならない関係
上、製造の工程が面倒である。本発明は上記のような問
題点を解決すべくなされたもので、比較的小型にケース
をまとめることができ、防水・電磁シールドの為の製造
時の作業も簡単で、しかも設置後長期にわたって防水と
電磁シールド効果が良好なまま使用可能な、優れた屋外
設置型高周波用機器を提供することを目的とする。

ケース内側に向け、且つ合着部を跨ぐように収納し、ケ
ース本体と蓋体とを合着固定手段を用いて合着したこと
を特徴とし、その作用は次のとおりである。

で侵入する事は防止される。その結果導電部の腐蝕は起
こらず、また内部の高周波回路も雨水から保護される。
高周波用機器内部の高周波回路は、導電性のケース本体
と蓋体と、パッキンの導電部により電磁気的に機器の外
部と遮蔽しておくことができ、処理すべき高周波信号が
ケース外へ漏洩したり又はその逆に妨害波の混入により
高周波信号が悪影響を受けたりすることが防止できる。
そして上記の様に導電部の腐蝕が起こらないから、長期
にわたりこのシールド効果が維持される。

図第5図はパッキンの部分拡大斜視図を示すものであ
る。1はケース本体でアルミ合金等をダイカスト成形し
たり、導電性材料を混入した合成樹脂を成形したりして
つくられており、導電性を有している。2は蓋体で、ケ
ース本体1と同様につくられており、これもまた導電性
を有している。3は取付け金具で、CATV用増幅器をメッ
センジャーワイヤー4に吊下げるために用いられる。5

部を示す。これらは夫々CATV用増幅器の入力端,出力端
に相当する。5cはCATV用増幅器の分岐出力端子を示し、
高周波であるテレビ信号が端子部分から漏洩したり混入
したりしない様に同軸接栓座が用いられている。6a,6b,
6cは夫々防水型の同軸接栓を示す。尚、同軸接栓6a,6b
には一例としてフィッティングコネクタが用いてある。
7a,7b,7cは夫々他のCATV用機器と接続するための同軸ケ
ーブルを示す。8はケース本体側に環状に設けられた合
着部、9は蓋体側に環状に設けられた合着部を夫々示
す。合着部8,9には、対向する面に夫々断面コ字状のパ
ッキン収納溝10,11が互いに向き合うよう設けてある。1
2は断面矩形の環状に形成されたパッキンを示す。パッ
キン12において、13は弾性体で、耐候性に優れ弾力性の
ある部材、例えばシリコーンゴムを角紐状にしたものが
好適に利用でき、14は導電体で、モネル,銅,カッパウ
ェルド,ステンレス等の細線を編んだり織ったりして角
紐状に形成したものが使用される。尚、導電体14は弾性
体13の一側面に一体的に設けられている。一例として
は、シリコーンゴムにステンレス線を織ってつくった紐
を一体的にモールディング成形している。また第2図示
のように、パッキン12は弾性体13を外側に、導電体14を
内側にしてパッキン収納溝10に主要される。15は合着の
固定手段として用いられるねじ棒を示す。16は該ねじ棒
15が螺着される有底のねじ孔を示す。17はねじ棒15を通
すために蓋体2に設けられた貫通孔を示す。18は組上り
状態でケース本体1内に内蔵される高周波回路を示し、
本例では増幅回路を示す。19は回路基板で、ねじ棒20を
用いて蓋体2の基板受座21に固着されている。22は高周
波信号を処理する回路部品を示す。上記構成のCATV用増
幅器を製造する場合には、まず蓋体2に高周波回路18を
組み付ける。次に適当な長さに切断したパッキン12を、
外側が弾性体13、内側が導電体14になる様にして環状に
形成し、接着剤等でパッキン12の両端相互を接着する。
この際合わせ目となる導電体14の両端相互を半田付け等
により適宜接続する事も試みられる。次にケース本体1
側のパッキン収納溝10に、上記の様にして加工したパッ
キン12を装着する。そして更にパッキン12を装着したケ
ース本体1に、高周波回路18を組み付けた蓋体2を合着
し、ねじ棒15をねじ孔16に螺着させて締付け固定すれば
CATV用増幅器は完成する。この様にして完成されたCATV
用増幅器は、取付金具3を用いてメッセンジャーワイヤ
ー4等に吊下げられ、同軸ケーブルが接続されて使用さ
れる。

器を設置した後は、雨水により内部回路が損傷する心配
も無く、電磁波は、合着面の継ぎ目部で、その合着面に
跨がって配置された導電体により確実に遮断されるの
で、高周波の漏洩により他の機器に悪影響を及ぼす心配
や、妨害波の混入により処理すべき高周波信号が乱され
る心配完全に無くなり、長期にわたって良好な状態で使
用できる特長もある。更にこのように優れた屋外設置型
高周波用機器であっても、それを製造する際には、防水
と高周波信号の漏洩および混入の防止との両対策が一条
のパッキンの装着によって簡単になし得るから、製造時
の作業上の利点は大きい。
