The optical duct 1 is mainly composed of a wide rectangular duct 2 having a low height and a flat rectangular tube shape. This duct 2 is installed horizontally from below the eaves of the building or below the balcony on the upper floor.
The sunlight rays that have been taken in at the outdoor side end are introduced into the indoor through the duct 2. The lighting part of the duct 2 is composed of a lighting window 3 and a mirror 4. As shown in FIG. 9, the sunlight rays taken in from the lighting window 3 are reflected by the mirror 4 and introduced into the duct 2 in the longitudinal direction. Has become.

Accordingly, especially in the morning and evening when the incident angle is small, there is a problem that the light collecting area is small and the sunlight cannot be efficiently transmitted through the narrow space. Moreover, although a mirror is arranged on the inner side surface 2a of the duct 2 inside the daylighting window 3, even if the sunlight rays in the morning and evening enter through the daylighting window 3 as shown in FIG. Is small, and the number of reflections on the inner surface of the duct 2 is extremely large. For this reason, the reflection efficiency on the inner surface of the duct 2 cannot be ignored, and it is not possible to sufficiently guide the sun's rays into the interior of the duct 2.

Connect both side walls of the duct 14 located on both sides of the daylighting window 13 to the duct.
After widening toward the end of 14, the width is narrowed again, and the width of the end is approximately triangular so that the final side has almost the same width as the main part of the duct 14. The projecting portion 15 is formed by projecting in a shape, and the auxiliary mirror 16 is provided on the inner surface of the projecting portion 15 of the duct 14, and the cover 17 that covers the lighting window 13 is convex upward to form a three-dimensional shape. It is that. The details will be described below.

The daylighting part 12 is disposed so as to project outward from below the eaves or below the balcony on the upper floor. Further, the duct 14 is horizontally arranged toward the inside of the room, and a secondary mirror 20 is arranged at the indoor side end thereof as shown in FIG. Here, the daylighting window 13 is formed by cutting out the outdoor end of the duct 14 so that the side surface of the duct 14 inclines downward toward the tip. The conventional lighting window 13 has a rectangular shape having the same width as that of the duct 2 as shown in FIG. 7 and FIG.
At 11, both sides of the daylighting window 13 project outward in the left-right direction of the duct 14 in a substantially triangular shape. Therefore, the area of the daylighting window 13 is wider than the conventional one by the amount of this overhang, and it is possible to take in as much sunlight rays in the morning and evening incident at a low angle as possible.

The cover 17 is integrally formed of transparent plastic or the like. Further, the shape of the cover 17 is configured so that the lower end edge 17a thereof substantially coincides with the shape of the daylighting window 13 as shown in FIGS. 1, 3 and 6, and the front surface 17b has a daytime sun ray. The sun rays A during the day pass through the front surface 17b of the cover 17 and enter the primary mirror 22 as shown in FIG. The reflected ray A1 is reflected and introduced into the interior of the duct 14. On the other hand, the sunbeam B in the morning and evening with a relatively small incident angle is in front of the cover 17.
17b or the first side surface 17c to enter the auxiliary mirror 16,
It is reflected by the auxiliary mirror 16 and introduced into the interior of the duct 14.
At this time, even if the reflected light beam B1 is inclined with respect to the axis of the duct 14, the reflected light beam B1 can be introduced deep into the duct 14 by disposing a reflecting material on the inner surface of the duct 14.
