れている。2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, various methods have been proposed in order to improve the water absorption properties of gels which are sensitive to temperature changes in water and have reversible water absorption and drainage capabilities. For example, a method of mixing iron oxide with an aqueous solution of polyvinyl methyl ether, irradiating it with γ-rays, and improving the porous and electrothermal rate to improve the water absorption rate (J. Chem. Eng. Japan, 21
10 1988), pre-mixing hydroxypropyl cellulose during gel synthesis, washing the gel after polymerization to remove hydroxypropyl cellulose to make the gel porous and improve the water absorption rate (J.Polym.Soc.:PartA, 30 2121 199
2), a method of synthesizing a gel having a heterogeneous cross-linking structure by polymerizing at a temperature above the volume transfer temperature
2 322 1991) and the like are known. On the other hand, various water-absorbing properties have been improved even with respect to a general super-water-absorbent resin that does not have the ability to absorb and drain water with respect to temperature changes. For example, a method of mixing a water-absorbent resin powder with hydrotalcite to improve the water absorption rate (JP-A-2-215863), a method of mixing the water-absorbent resin powder and apajartite to improve the water absorption rate (JP-A-SHO). 61-58657) and the like have been reported.

Alternatively, a copolymer with N-isopropyl acrylamide, diacetone acrylamide and acrylic acid is exemplified. The composition ratio of each monomer is arbitrary, but N-isopropylacrylamide is 30 mol%, preferably 50 mol% or more of all the monomers used in terms of temperature sensitivity, and acrylamide, diacetone acrylamide, and acrylic acid are each It is preferably 40 mol% or less.
The water absorption / drainage starting temperature of the temperature-sensitive water absorption / drainage composition (hereinafter referred to as a temperature-sensitive point) can be arbitrarily controlled by the amount of acrylamide or diacetone acrylamide used.

Examples of the method include a method of crosslinking with a crosslinking agent after polymerization, a method of crosslinking with radiation, and the like. A method of copolymerizing a divinyl-type monomer is preferable because of the uniformity of the inorganic particles and the simple production method. The divinyl-type monomer used is preferably one that has good copolymerizability with each of the monomers constituting the temperature-sensitive polymer, has an efficient cross-linking structure, and gives a uniform cross-linking distribution. For example, N, N- Methylene bis (meth) acrylamide, ethylene glycol di (meth) acrylate, diethylene glycol (meth) acrylate, polyethylene glycol di (meth) acrylate, propylene glycol di (meth) acrylate,
Glycerin tri (meth) acrylate etc. can be mentioned. The amount of these divinyl monomers used is about 0.001 to 5% by weight, preferably about 0.01 to 1% by weight, based on all the monomers.

0 parts by weight, preferably 5 to 20 parts by weight are added. 50
If it is added in excess of parts by weight, the amount of water absorption of the resulting temperature-sensitive water-absorbing and draining composition decreases, and if it is less than 2 parts by weight, the rate of absorbing and draining water is not sufficiently improved.

After polymerization, or after drying and crushing the polymer,
When inorganic particles are added and mixed, it is difficult to uniformly disperse the inorganic particles, or the inorganic particles fall off, so that a sufficient improvement in water absorption rate cannot be expected. The solvent that can be used is not particularly limited as long as it dissolves the monomer, but water is preferably used as the solvent from the viewpoint of production efficiency and safety, and all the methods used in aqueous solution polymerization can be used as the polymerization method. As the polymerization initiator used, a water-soluble radical initiator, for example, hydrogen peroxide, persulfate such as ammonium persulfate or potassium persulfate, hydroperoxides such as t-butyl hydroperoxide or cumene hydroperoxide, 2,2'-azobis (2-
Azo-based initiators such as amidinopropane) dihydrochloride, or redox type in which these water-soluble initiators are combined with reducing substances such as sodium bisulfite, Rongalit, N, N, N ', N'-tetramethylethylenediamine Initiators can be mentioned. The amount of these initiators used is 0.01 to 10 wt%, preferably 0.1 to 2 wt.

(1) Water absorption rate 0.2 g of the temperature-sensitive water absorption / drainage composition was enclosed in a non-woven bag, and 1
After immersing in pure water whose temperature was adjusted to 0 ° C. for 10 minutes, it was thoroughly drained and weighed. Separately, a non-woven bag containing no composition was treated in the same manner and used as a blank.
A blank was subtracted from the obtained measured value, and the value converted into the weight per 1 g of the dry composition was taken as the water absorption rate. The larger this value, the faster the water absorption rate. (2) Drainage rate 0.2 g of the temperature-sensitive water-absorbent / drainage composition is enclosed in a non-woven bag and 1
Immersion in pure water whose temperature is adjusted to 0 ° C. for 15 hours to absorb water sufficiently, and then pouring it into pure water whose temperature is adjusted to 50 ° C. to drain water from the composition until complete drainage (Time until the weight became constant) was measured, and this time was defined as the drainage rate. The smaller this value, the faster the drainage rate. (3) Water absorption amount 0.2 g of the temperature-sensitive water absorption / drainage composition was enclosed in a non-woven bag, immersed in pure water adjusted to an arbitrary temperature for 1 day, drained sufficiently, and the weight was measured. Separately, a non-woven bag containing no composition was treated in the same manner and used as a blank. A blank was subtracted from the obtained measured value, and the value converted into the weight per 1 g of the dry composition was taken as the water absorption amount at each temperature.
The larger this value, the higher the water absorption capacity.
