2. Description of the Related Art A power cable is subjected to a withstand voltage test on site after a new construction of a cable line, a system change work, or a trouble recovery work. In addition, the insulation performance of power cables gradually deteriorates during long-term use, which may lead to dielectric breakdown. In particular, CV cables, which have been widely used recently, may not be used in the cable insulation depending on the manufacturing conditions and the usage environment. Since the water tree that occurs in the equipment may lower the insulation performance in a relatively short period of time and lead to dielectric breakdown, in order to diagnose the dielectric strength of power cables, a withstand voltage test, corona test, or leakage current test is performed. Various characteristic tests are performed.

A DC withstand voltage test has been conventionally performed as a withstand voltage test for these power cables after installation. This is because if the cable line length becomes long, such as in a power cable after installation, a large charging current will flow in AC power supply, and the power supply equipment such as a transformer will become large and the withstand voltage test will become difficult. . for that reason,
Conventionally, the withstand voltage test of long-distance power cable lines has been performed exclusively by the direct current method. However, this direct current withstand voltage test lacks breaking energy, so even if a high voltage is applied to the power cable, Sometimes the defect cannot be detected.

For example, in the case of a 66 KV class CV cable, a DC withstanding voltage test is twice that of electrical equipment standards, that is, 152.
Harmful trees may not be detected even if a voltage of about KV is applied, which is not sufficient for accident prevention. On the other hand, in the case of the AC withstanding voltage test, in the case of the same CV cable, if a water tree having a length of 3 mm or more exists in the cable insulator, the cable will break at a working voltage of 38 KV,
When a water tree having a length of 2 mm or more is present, the cable is destroyed when an alternating current of 76 KV is applied. Therefore, if the cable is screened at such an alternating voltage, an accident during the operation of the cable can be reliably prevented. Further, the AC withstand voltage test is closer to the actual operating condition than the DC withstand voltage test, and effective test data can be obtained.

However, in the case of the AC withstanding voltage test, if the cable line becomes long as described above, the electrostatic capacity increases and the charging current increases, so that a large-scale power supply facility is required and it is practically used. Was difficult. It is conceivable to cut the long-distance power cable line to an appropriate length and perform an AC withstanding voltage test for each short-distance cable, but in that case, at the time of restoration after the test, the split cable will be connected to the reconnection point of the cable. Is required, and the number of connection points increases, which is not preferable. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a withstand voltage test method for a long-distance power cable line that can efficiently and reliably screen a long-distance power cable line.

In the withstand voltage test method of the present invention, the long-distance power cable line is divided into the short-distance power cable line, and then the AC voltage is applied. The AC withstanding voltage test can be performed without it. Also, because the division into short-distance power cable lines is performed at the cable joint that is disassembled for storage, it is easy to connect the lead cable for withstanding voltage test and reassemble the cable joint after withstanding voltage test. In addition, since it is not necessary to use the split cable, there is no inconvenience that the number of connection points increases.

When the power cable is broken by this test, the section is replaced with another power cable and connected.
After applying an alternating test voltage again to perform a withstand voltage test, the easily connected portion is disassembled. Then, the other power cable 4 is also subjected to the AC withstanding voltage test in the same manner as above, and when it passes, the power cables 3 and 4 are reconnected. In this case, the cable joint portion 5 connecting between the two power cables has been disassembled conservatively, and therefore the cable conductors 8 and 9 and the cable insulating layers 6 and 7 need to be repaired as needed. Reconnection of both power cables 3, 4 can easily be carried out as they can be reused just by doing. In addition, there is no need for a split cable, and reconnection work can be easily performed in that respect as well. Also, when simply connecting the cable conductor and insulating layer of one power cable line to one end of the lead cable, connect the cable conductor with a simple sleeve,
If the insulating layers are connected by the winding layer of the self-bonding tape, they can be easily connected even if the cable conductor and the insulating layer of the power cable and the lead cable have different sizes.

In the above description, the long-distance power cable line is divided at the cable joint portion located approximately in the middle, and an alternating current is applied to each short-distance power cable line to perform a withstand voltage test. Although described, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, when two or more cable joints are inserted in the middle of a long-distance power cable line, a cable line is provided for each cable joint. The AC withstand voltage test may be performed separately. However, when two or more cable joints are inserted in the long-distance power cable line, which cable joint part divides the short-distance power cable line depends on the charging current of the short-distance power cable line and use. It should be determined in consideration of the capacity of the AC power supply facility that can be used.
