2. Description of the Related Art Partial discharge measurement is often used to diagnose deterioration of voltage cables. The partial discharge measurement is measured by, for example, the measurement circuit shown in FIG. The detection impedance 2 is connected between the metal shielding layers 5 on both sides of the insulation tube 4 of the insulation connection part 1 of the power cable line, and the measuring device 3 is connected in parallel via the detection impedance 2 in the insulation of the cable 7. The pulse is measured by measuring the potential difference generated at both ends of the detection impedance 2 by the measuring instrument 3 due to the pulse resulting from the partial discharge occurring in the pulse. In the figure, 6 indicates a normal connection part. However, some of the pulses detected by the detector 2 are caused by noise that is not due to the partial discharge, so it is necessary to determine whether or not the detected pulse is caused by noise. Conventionally, for example, the determination method has been to determine whether or not the detection pulse is caused by noise depending on whether the detection pulse is synchronized with the frequency of the applied voltage. Details in Figure 4
Shown in With respect to the sinusoidal applied voltage as shown in FIG. 4a, the pulses caused by the partial discharge frequently occur at the phases 0 and π as shown in FIG. 4b and are synchronized with the applied voltage. But,
Pulses due to noise occur in a manner that is uncorrelated with the phase of the applied voltage, as shown in FIG. 4c. The difference can be used to determine whether the generated pulse is due to noise.

However, when the partial discharge and the noise are simultaneously generated at a plurality of points in the cable, the discrimination based on the above phase becomes impossible. Also, noise that is synchronized with the frequency of the applied voltage, such as AC
Since the motor, thyristor noise and the like are present, the above method is insufficient.

By performing the position location, the generated pulses can be classified according to the generation position, so that it is possible to discriminate even when partial discharge and noise occur at a plurality of locations at the same time. Further, since the phase information of the applied voltage is not used for the discrimination, it is possible to discriminate the noise synchronized with the applied voltage.

A specific discrimination method using position location will be described below. Judgment based on continuity In general, once a partial discharge occurs, it continues for a while, so it can be determined that a pulse without continuity is due to noise. Therefore, the orientation position of the generated pulse, the time when the pulse was generated, and the amount of generated charge are recorded, and the duration of each pulse generated at each position is checked. It is determined that the cause is. Distinguishing based on the difference between the occurrence of power-on and non-power-on Partial discharge is due to the applied voltage, so no partial discharge naturally occurs during non-power application. Therefore, the orientation position and time of occurrence of the generated pulse are recorded for each of the time when the power is applied and the time when the power is not applied, and it is determined that the pulse generated by the same level during the power application and the non-power application is caused by noise. Judgment based on presence / absence of noise source Confirm that there is no noise source at the orientation position of the generated pulse, and if there is a noise source at the orientation position, it is determined to be due to noise. Advanced noise discrimination can be performed by using all or part of the above items.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention. First, a method for locating a position will be described using the system of FIG. FIG.
The difference from the configuration shown in Fig. 2 is that an optical fiber 8 is connected to both measuring instruments 3 and 3 ', and the optical converted signals are both input to the time difference measuring unit 9, and the personal computer 10 determines the position of the pulse and the generation time of the pulse. The point is that the data of the charge amount is captured and processed to display an image. In FIG. 1, the cable length L to be located
C , the difference in length of the optical cables connected to both measuring devices 3, 3'is L f , the pulse propagation speed in the cable is v c , and the pulse propagation speed in the optical cable is v f . Now, assuming that a pulse occurs at A in FIG. 1, the pulse propagates through the cable and is detected by both measuring instruments 3, 3 '. The detected waveform is sent to the time difference measuring unit 9 by an optical cable. The time difference measuring unit 9 measures the time difference t between both detected waveforms. The generation position of the pulse is determined by using the above equation, and at the same time, the generation time and the generated charge amount are measured. Data of the position of the pulse, the generation time, and the generated charge
Taken in 10, and display the relationship between the generation position, generation time, and generated charge amount as shown in Fig. 2. FIG. 2 shows a fixed time interval (t 1
-T 0 = t 2 −t 1 = t 3 −t 2 = ...) is a graph showing the generation position of the pulse generated and the generated charge amount. For example, the pulses P 1 and P 2 in FIG. It represents a pulse generated between t 1 and t 2 . This time interval is 10 seconds to 1
Minutes are desirable. In FIG. 2, the pulse of the portion A does not have continuity, so it can be determined that it is caused by noise. B
Although the partial pulse is continuous, it is possible to determine that it is due to noise because it is generated even during non-power application. Since the pulse of the C portion is continuous and is generated only when the power is applied, it can be determined that it is the partial discharge. Further, in the output form as shown in FIG. 2, when it is not possible to distinguish between partial discharge and noise, the generation position is known, so the environment of the orientation position is checked to see if there is a noise source at the orientation position. It is possible to make a distinction.

It should be noted that a pulse may propagate in the section of FIG. 1 across the insulation connection portions, but the position of the pulse is also determined for such a pulse, and the left or right insulation connection portion is located. Although it is erroneously determined that the pulse is generated in the above, and it is displayed on FIG. 2, such erroneous determination is resolved by the following method.
As described above, when a pulse is generated between the insulated connections, both measuring devices 3 and 3'capture this, and the time difference measuring unit 9 can calculate the generation position x from the arrival time difference. Also, knowing the generation position, generated charge amount by an attenuation constant of the cable q A: the value of q B may be calculated. Here, considering a pulse generated at, for example, one point outside the section, the pulse generated outside this section propagates in the directions of the both insulation connection portions and is observed at the respective insulation connection portions, but the pulses are close to each other. When passing through one of the insulated connections, the connection is bordered by an insulating tube so that not all pass.
Therefore, it is considered that the magnitude of the pulse detected at the insulating connection portion farther from the pulse generation position becomes smaller.
Therefore, the pulse generated outside the section is determined to have occurred at the insulation connection part due to the time difference, but when the measured value of q A : q B occurs at the insulation connection part on the side close to the generation point outside the section. q A : Different from the calculated value of q B. Therefore, the above erroneous determination can be prevented by adding the determination based on the value of q A : q B.

[Effects] According to the method of the present invention, since the generated pulses can be classified according to the generation position by locating the generated pulses, it is possible to discriminate the noise even when the partial discharge and the noise are simultaneously generated at a plurality of positions of the cable. It is also possible to discriminate against noise that is synchronized with the frequency of the applied voltage.
Further, it is needless to say that more sophisticated noise discrimination can be performed by performing the method of the present invention and the conventional discrimination method in parallel.
