The toner is transferred onto the recording paper 10 by the electrostatic attraction force. (5) The untransferred toner and the remaining electrostatic latent image on the photoconductor 1 are removed by the cleaner 5 and the static eliminator 6 to prepare for the next image recording. (6) The toner image on the recording paper 10 is run through the fixing device 7, melted by momentary heat and pressure, and the image is recorded by adhering to the fibers of the recording paper 10 to fix the image.

An ion flow system is a system that does not use the photoreceptor 1 to form an electrostatic latent image. Next, the principle of the conventional ion flow system will be described. FIG. 11 is a conceptual diagram of a conventional ion flow system. (1) The ions generated in the corona charger 11 have an electrostatic attraction force due to the electric field formed by the counter electrode 13 arranged to face the corona charger 11 on the back surface of the dielectric 12 forming the electrostatic latent image. It acts and passes through the ion control hole arranged between the corona charger 11 and the dielectric 12. (2) The passing amount is controlled by an electric field formed by the upper control electrode 14 arranged above the ion control hole and the lower control electrode 15 arranged below.
An electrostatic latent image is directly formed on the dielectric 12. (3) By applying the charged toner on the dielectric 12 by the toner supply device 3, the toner image is generated by being attracted by the electric field of the electrostatic latent image. (4) The toner image obtained by development is subjected to corona discharge by the corona transfer device 4 arranged on the back surface of the recording paper 10 superposed on the toner image, and electrostatic charge having a polarity opposite to that of the toner is applied to the back surface of the recording paper 10. (5) The untransferred toner and the remaining electrostatic latent image on the dielectric 12 are removed by the cleaner 5 and the static eliminator 6 to prepare for the next image recording. (6) The toner image on the recording paper 10 is run by the fixing device 7, melted by momentary heat and pressure, and is adhered to the fibers of the recording paper 10 to fix the image, thereby performing image recording. It is configured.

On the other hand, as a method of not forming an electrostatic latent image,
There is a direct toner spraying method in which toner is directly transferred to the recording paper 10 by electrostatic attraction. Next, the principle of the conventional toner direct spraying method will be described. FIG. 12 is a conceptual diagram of a conventional toner direct spraying method. (1) The toner negatively charged by the toner supply device 3 is attracted and carried by the developer sleeve 16 having a cylindrical metal shape by electrostatic attraction. (2) Developer sleeve 16 carrying toner
Is rotated to transfer the toner to a position facing the recording paper 10. (3) At this time, a high voltage of about 1.5 kV is applied to the counter electrode 13 arranged on the back surface of the recording paper 10. Therefore, the electrostatic attraction force acts on the toner that has approached the counter electrode 13. (4) Further, the ring electrode 17 having a toner passage hole disposed between the toner and the recording paper 10 has about 3
By superposing the electric field formed by applying a voltage of 00V on the electric field by the counter electrode 13, the electrostatic attraction force larger than the carrying force on the developer sleeve 16 causes the toner to pass through the toner passage hole. Image recording is performed by spraying the recording paper 10.

As a method other than the above-mentioned direct toner spraying method, which does not form an electrostatic latent image, there is an electrostatic suction type ink jet method. FIG. 13 is a conceptual diagram of a conventional electrostatic suction type inkjet system. (1) Ink ejection nozzles 19 are arranged so as to face a metal drum 18 serving as a counter electrode on which the recording paper 10 is mounted. However, the above-mentioned prior art has the following problems.
(1) In the electrophotographic method, a large number of parts such as a light source for writing, an optical part, and a photosensitive drum are used to form an electrostatic latent image, and the structure is complicated. There is a problem that running costs are high because consumables such as drums are also replaced at the same time. (2) The ion flow method was devised as a method that does not use an expensive optical system, but since a high voltage of up to about 300 V is switched to control electrostatic latent image recording, the driver cost for controlling it is high. There is a problem that the cost becomes high and the device cost cannot be reduced as a result.
(3) In order to further simplify the structure, a toner direct spraying method was devised in which the toner is directly sprayed onto the recording paper without forming an electrostatic latent image. The problem remains that a high voltage is needed to control the toner withdrawal. (4)
Further, the electrostatic suction type inkjet system also has the same problem as (3).

As described above, in the conventional image forming apparatus utilizing the electrostatic phenomenon of the electrostatic latent image and the electrostatic attraction force, a high voltage is used for printing control even if the structure is simplified and the apparatus cost is reduced. Since the switching is performed, the driver cost for controlling the switching becomes high, and as a result, the device cost cannot be reduced.

Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art.
As the first means, a dielectric having pyroelectricity is used, and the dielectric is provided with a heating means. By changing the spontaneous polarization of the pyroelectric dielectric by the heating means, the heating means It is possible to control a high potential by controlling the low voltage. As the second means, instead of the heating means of the first means, a pyroelectric dielectric is used by an optical signal represented by a solid-state light emitting element array such as a laser beam scanning or LED array / fluorescent tube element array / plasma array. It is designed to give thermal stimulation to the body.
