2. Description of the Related Art In a ground-traveling type folding door installed at a doorway or the like, conventionally, as described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 58-8853, a plurality of door bodies are zigzag-shaped around a vertical axis by a hinge means. The main body of the door is pivotally attached to
The lower part of the door contact side end of the door body and the lower part of the even-numbered hinge means from the door contact side are provided with traveling means for traveling along the guide rails laid on the ground side, respectively. When folded, there is one in which each door body is folded in a zigzag shape so that each door body projects from the guide rail to one side inward and outward of the door body with an even hinge means from the door stop side as a fulcrum. .

In this conventional folding door, a wheel case is fixed to the lower end of each hinge means, a wheel having a peripheral groove formed on its outer periphery is pivotally supported in the wheel case, and a guide body is provided in the wheel case. The circumferential groove of the wheel and the guide body are engaged with the guide rail so that the wheel travels along the guide rail when the door body is folded.

In this type of folding door, each door extends along the guide rails in a substantially straight line when the door main body is in the maximum extension state, and when the door main body expands and contracts, each wheel is guided by the guide rails. All the door bodies rotate around the vertical axis of each hinge means along with the movement, and each door body expands and contracts in a zigzag shape.

At the time of expansion and contraction, each door body has an odd-numbered hinge means from the door-contact side, which is separated from the door body to one side in the inside / outside direction, so that each door body moves from the guide rail to the inside / outside direction of the door body. The even-numbered hinge means is pivoted from the door stop side as a fulcrum so as to project laterally. Then, when the door body is completely folded, the even-numbered hinge means side from the door-stop side is the fulcrum, and the odd-numbered hinge means side of each door body protrudes one side from the guide rail by the width of the door body. Therefore, the center of gravity of the entire door body is largely separated from the guide rail to one side, and a moment is applied to the engaging portion between the wheel and the guide rail.

However, in the conventional folding door, one wheel with which the circumferential groove engages is provided in the wheel case at the lower end of each hinge means, and each wheel supports the entire door body. In order to resist the moment of the door body, there is a drawback that the entire structure of the door body including each door body is very simple and can be used only for a small one which is relatively light in weight.

That is, when the door body is completely folded, the maximum is the maximum, and even when the door body expands and contracts, each door body projects to one side of the guide rail, and its center of gravity is separated from the guide rail to one side. Despite the fact that the weight of the door body itself acts as a moment in the direction in which the door body falls, the conventional structure has a structure that resists the moment at the engagement portion between the wheel at the lower end of the hinge means and the guide rail. ing. Therefore, if the entire door body including each door body is large and heavy in weight, a strong moment will be applied to the engaging portion between the wheel and the guide rail. On the other hand, there is a drawback in that it cannot withstand enough.

Further, even if the moment of the door body can be resisted, the stability of the door body is poor, and moreover, the engagement portion between the wheel and the guide rail is distorted due to the moment,
There is a drawback that the operation for opening and closing the door body becomes very difficult. In view of such conventional problems, the present invention can support the door main body by the traveling means without being affected by the moment of the door main body, improves the stability regardless of the size of the door main body, and smoothes the operation at the time of opening and closing. It is also an object of the present invention to provide a ground-operated folding door that can be lightly operated.

Further, for example, when the door body 6 is to fall over to the outside, the overturn preventing member 57 prevents the opposite side from floating with the outer wheel 54 as a fulcrum.
It is engaged with the fall prevention rail portions 43, 44 to prevent the rail portions. Therefore, if the distance between the wheel 54 and the fall prevention rail portions 43, 44 changes and becomes smaller, the fall prevention member 57 and the fall prevention rail portions are reduced.
A large load is applied to 43 and 44, and they will be deformed or damaged.

However, the wheel frame 50 of each traveling means 13 is in a state of being substantially perpendicular to the guide rail 5 by the pair of anti-vibration members 56, and the angle thereof hardly changes. 54 and each guide rail 5 fall prevention rail section 4
The distance between 3,44 is almost constant. Therefore, in both cases of inside and outside, the load applied to the fall prevention member 57 and the fall prevention rail portions 43 and 44 is constant and does not change when the fall of the door body 6 is prevented, so the fall prevention member 57 and the fall prevention rail portion are not changed. A strong load is not applied to 43, 44 and they are not deformed or damaged, and the durability of the fall prevention member 57 and the fall prevention rail portions 43, 44 is improved.

When the door body 6 is folded and the doorway 3 is opened, the handle 87 of the door stop side end frame 10 is grasped to open the door body 6.
When the whole is pushed along the guide rail 5 in the direction indicated by the arrow a in FIG. 1, the pair of wheels 54 of each traveling means 13 rolls on both sides of the guide rail 5, and the entire door body 6 moves in the direction indicated by the arrow a. Moving.
At the start of this movement, each shaft member 33 of the hinge shaft 26 on the suspension base side

While the door body 6 moves to the state shown in FIG. 17, the third guided member 12 first comes out of the refraction preventing guide groove 38 and moves to the first kicking guide means 14 side. ,
After that, the restriction protrusion 78 of the shaft member 33 is aligned with the restriction step 81 of the guide plate 27.
The third guided member 12 abuts on the first kicking guide means 14 side while reaching the rotation permitting concave portion 80 side beyond.

Therefore, when the door body 6 continues to move in the direction indicated by the arrow a, as shown in FIG.
Since the 12 moves in the direction of the arrow b along the inclined surface of the first kicking guide means 14 and the third guided member 12 is kicked out from the guide recess 48 to the outside, Each door body 7 on both sides of the fifth hinge means 8 is provided with the fifth hinge means 8.
It begins to bend in a valley fold shape with the hinge axis 22 of as a fulcrum. At this time, the sixth door body 7 rotates in the direction of the arrow c with the hinge shaft 26 on the suspension side as a fulcrum, and the fifth door body 7 rotates the hinge shaft 22 of the fourth hinge means 8. It rotates in the direction of the arrow d with the fulcrum as the fulcrum.

However, even if the sixth door body 7 and the fifth door body 7 start to bend in this way, the hinge means 9 on the door-stop side, the second and fourth hinges, respectively. At the lower part of the means 8, there are traveling means 13 respectively, and since each traveling means 13 travels along the guide rails 5 in the direction indicated by the arrow a,
The fourth door body 7 only rotates about the hinge shaft 22 of the fourth hinge means 8, and the fourth to the door-stop side door bodies 7 are still in a straight state. Of course,
Since each guided member 12 is provided in the refraction preventing guide groove 38, each of the door bodies 7 from the fourth door stop side cannot bend inward and outward.

When the door stop side end frame 10 of the door body 6 is further moved and the third traveling means 13 reaches the vicinity of the suspension base side pillar 1, the sixth door body 7 and the fifth door The body 7 is bent in an acute angle in the vicinity of the suspension base 1 as shown in FIG. Therefore, when the door stop side is slightly opened to move in and out, it is only necessary to bend the two door bodies 7 on the suspension base side, and it is not always necessary to fold the entire door body 6. Even in this state, most of the door body 6 is in the same linear state as when it is maximally extended, except for the two door bodies 7 on the hanging side, so that the door bodies 6 are entirely covered. The appearance is very good as compared with the conventional one in which 7 is refracted almost at the same time.

As shown in FIG. 19, after the second guided member 12 reaches the inclined surface of the second kicking guide means 15, when the whole is further pushed in the direction of arrow a, the second guided member 12 is pushed. The guide member 12 is guided by the inclined surface of the second kicking guide means 15 and kicked out of the guide recess 49 to the outside of the guide rail 5, so that the fourth door body 7 and the third door body 7 are moved along with the movement. The door body 7 and the second hinge means 8 are bent in a valley fold shape. At this time, the sixth door body 7 and the fifth door body 7 are bent to a substantially parallel state, and the fifth door body 7 and the fourth door body 7 are connected to the fourth hinge. It is bent into a mountain fold by means 8.

Thereafter, when the door stop side end frame 10 is pushed toward the hanging base side, similarly, each door body 7 from the second to the door contact side is also bent in order, and as shown in FIG. All the door bodies 7 of the door body 6 can be folded in a zigzag shape near the side.

Since each door body 7 moves along the guide rails 5 in the straight state to the vicinity of the suspension base side and is sequentially folded in a zigzag shape from the suspension base side, each door body 7 can be folded. It is enough to secure the necessary space inside the guide rails 5 near the suspension base, and compared with the conventional guide rails in which each door body 7 of the door body 6 is folded in zigzag at the same time. It is not necessary to secure a space over the entire length of 5. Therefore, they can be arranged close to obstacles such as buildings, and the occurrence of dead space can be minimized.

In the folded state, the stoppers 55 of the traveling means 13 are in contact with each other and the doors 7 are substantially parallel to each other. For this reason, the door bodies 7 do not come into contact with each other, and an unnecessary external force is not applied to each hinge means 8, and at the same time, the door bodies 7 can be folded in an orderly and compact manner.

Each guided member 12 is located in the vicinity of the inside of the hinge shaft 22 of each odd-numbered hinge means 8 and each door body on both sides thereof.
Since the guided member 12 is connected to the door bodies 7 on both sides via the link 72 in addition to having substantially the same distance as that of the kicking guide means 14 and 15, the guided members 12 are connected to each other by the inclined surfaces of the kicking guide means 14 and 15. When kicking out the guide member 12, the kicking force acts substantially evenly on the door bodies 7 on both sides, and the door bodies on both sides of the odd-numbered hinge means 8 are

A large space between can be secured. Therefore, even when the traveling guide groove 37 and the refraction preventing guide groove 38 are provided in the guide rail 5, a space can be secured between them, so that the guide rail 5 can be easily manufactured.

Moreover, each guided member 12 approaches the hinge shaft 22 side of the hinge means 8 due to the bending of each door body 7, and when each door body 7 is in a substantially parallel state, the guided member 12 is guided. Since it will only slightly protrude from the hinge shaft 22, even if each door body 7 is left in a zigzag folded state,
Each guided member 12 does not significantly protrude from the lower portion of each door body 7 and become an obstacle.

In the folded state in which the door body 6 is completely folded, each door body 7 has a hinge shaft 26 and a traveling means 13 on the hanging side.
So that the even-numbered hinge means 8 having a number of 5 are located on the guide rail 5 side, and the odd-numbered hinge means 8 side is the farthest from the guide rail 5, and protrudes inward from the guide rail 5 by the distance between the adjacent hinge means 8. To do.

However, the wheel frame 50 of each traveling means 13 is arranged in a direction substantially perpendicular to the guide rail 5, and the wheel frame 50 is
The wheels 54 are provided at both ends of the hinge shafts 22, 24, and the distance W 1 between the hinge shafts 22, 24 and the wheels 54 on the protruding direction side of the door body 7 is set to the hinge shafts 22, 24.
And the wheel 54 on the side opposite to the protruding direction of the door body 7 is set to be larger than the distance W 2, and the center of gravity G of the door body 6 is not only during folding but also when the door body 6 is completely folded. As shown in FIG. 24, the position of the wheels on the protruding side of each door body 7
Since it is located closer to the guide rail 5 than the grounding point of 54, the traveling means 13 can stably support the door body 6 even though each door body 7 projects inward from the guide rail 5. .

Therefore, unless an external force in the falling direction acts on the door body 6, the falling prevention member of each traveling means 13 will not engage with the falling prevention rail portion 43 of the guide rail 5.
Since the moment of the door body 6 does not affect the guide rails 5, the load on the guide rails 5 can be reduced, and the operation for opening and closing the door body 6 along the guide rails 5 can be lightened and the operation of each door body can be reduced. Operations such as folding operation of 7 can be performed smoothly and lightly.

Moreover, since the wheel frame 50 of each traveling means 13 is held at a substantially right angle with respect to the guide rail 5 by the pair of anti-vibration members 56, each wheel 54 and the guide rail when the door body 6 is expanded and contracted. It is possible to prevent the moment of the door body 6 from unexpectedly acting in the falling direction during the opening and closing of the door body 6 without causing the interval between the door body 5 and the door to change in an unstable manner.

The wheel frame 50 of the traveling means 13 is in a substantially right angle state with respect to the guide rails 5 because the anti-vibration members 56 provided on the stoppers 55 on both sides thereof move in the traveling guide grooves 37 of the guide rails 5. It is kept at, and does not swing unstable. Therefore, the distance between each wheel 54 and the guide rail 5 is always constant, and at the same time, the length of the wheel frame 50 is large so that the wheel 54 is largely separated from the guide rail 5 inwardly. The direction of the axle 53 supporting the wheels 54 is constant, and each wheel 54 can be smoothly rolled in parallel with the guide rail 5.

When the door bodies 7 are extended from the folded state, the handle 87 of the door-stop side end frame 10 is gripped and the door-stop side frame 10 is moved in the direction of arrow e. Then, the first traveling means 13 on the door stop side moves in the direction of the arrow e along the guide rail 5, and the distance between the first traveling means 13 and the second traveling means 13 increases. Therefore, the first door body 7 and the second door body 7 rotate around the hinge shafts 22 and 24 of the hinge means 8 and 9 and extend to the linear state. And, the first door body 7 and the second door body 7
When and are in a straight line state, the second traveling means 13 moves in the direction of arrow e through the second hinge means 8, and similarly the third door body 7 and the fourth door body The body 7 and the body 7 extend straight.

In this case, before the door bodies 7 on both sides of the first and third hinge means 8 are extended to the linear state, the door bodies 7 mounted on the second and fourth door bodies 7 are attached. Locking protrusion
Since 83 is locked by the restricting member 84 of the suspension base 1, the first and second guided members 12 near the first and third hinge means 8 are the second and third guided members 12, respectively. It is guided by the inclined surface of the rise guide means 17 and enters the refraction preventing guide groove 38 from the guide recess 49.

For example, in FIG. 21, the locking projection 83 mounted on the fourth door body 7 is engaged with the restricting member 84, and the fourth door body 7 is indicated by the arrow e along the guide rail 5. It shows a state of being locked so as not to move in the direction. 4th door body 7 when extended

Then, when the fourth door body 7 moves to a certain position, the front side of the regulating member 84 is curved to the running guide groove 37 side of the guide rail 5 in the shape of a letter V. The locking projection 83 of the door body 7 comes into contact with the regulation guide surface 86 of the regulation member 84, and the fourth door body 7 is locked so as not to move in the arrow e direction. Therefore, the fourth door 7
So that the relative angle with the fifth door body 7 becomes large,

At this time, since the restriction guide surface 86 of the restriction member 84 is formed in an arc shape centering on the hinge shaft 22 of the fourth hinge means 8, the locking projection 83 and the restriction member 84 are formed. The locking protrusion 83 is smoothly guided along the regulation guide surface 86 without any occurrence of squeezing or the like. Then, when the second guided member 12 enters the guide recess 49, the locking projection 83 is disengaged from the restriction guide surface 86 of the restriction member 84 and the locked state is released, so that the fourth door is opened. The body 7 moves in the direction of the arrow e, and with this movement, the second guided member 12 comes into contact with the inclined surface of the second riser guide means 17, and then the refraction preventing guide groove is formed.

When an external force is applied to the door body 6 in the falling direction, the other side of the pair of wheels 54 tries to float up with one of the wheels 54 as a fulcrum, but the falling prevention members are provided at both ends of the wheel frame 50. 57, and the engaging portion 57 of each fall prevention member 57.
Since a is engaged with the fall prevention rail portion 43 of each auxiliary guide rail 91 from below, the engagement portion 57a of the fall prevention member 57 on the other side prevents the fall of the auxiliary guide rail 91 on the other side. The rail portion 43 is engaged from below to prevent the door body 6 from falling. Therefore, the distance between the wheel 54 on one side and the fall-preventing member 57 on the other side becomes large. Therefore, even if the gap between the fall-preventing rail portion 43 and the engaging portion 57a of the fall-preventing member 57 is the same as that of the first embodiment. Compared with the above, the inclination of the door body 6 in the falling direction can be reduced, and the load on the falling prevention member 57 and the falling prevention rail portion 43 at that time can be reduced.
