The other end side of the flat wire is arranged in parallel on each flat wire group for each flat wire group, and the conductor connecting tape is attached to form the child terminal portion. Since it is not necessary to insert the crimp terminal into the connection connector, the structure and manufacturing process of the wire harness can be simplified and the size thereof can be reduced. Furthermore, since the parent terminal portion branches directly to the child terminal portion, it is not necessary to bundle the branch portions, for example, and the configuration is simple.

As shown in FIG. 4, reference numeral 29 denotes a cutting edge 31 provided with a concave blade portion 31a that substantially matches the cross-sectional shape of the rectangular conductor 10 and a tapered blade portion 31b that tapers outward from the tip of the concave blade portion 31a. The pair of cutting edges 31 are arranged so as to be openable and closable so as to face each other. Then, the flat electric wire 12 is cut by completely closing the cutting / peeling blades 29, 29, and the flat electric wire 12 is cut in that state by cutting only the insulating member 11 leaving the flat rectangular conductor 10. The branch portions 14 and the branch portions 15 are arranged on the upper side, and the flat electric wires 12 at the tips of the branch portions 15 are fitted into the second holding grooves 49, so that the ends are aligned and on the same plane. In the state of being arranged in parallel with each other, the insulating member reinforcing tape 21 is fused by heating to the insulating member 11 in the vicinity of the end portion on the one surface side (upper surface side) (a portion indicated by a dashed line in FIG. 15). After that, when the insulating member 12 is removed from the second fixing frame 48, a terminal portion 22 'before peeling of the insulating member 11 as shown in FIG. 16 is formed, which is cut in FIG.・ Peeling blade 2
By using the parallel cutting / peeling blade 29 ′ in which four nine are arranged in parallel, the insulating member 11 at the ends of the four flat electric wires 12 is simultaneously subjected to the peeling process to form the exposed portion 19, thereby forming the exposed portion 19.
Make up 2. According to the above method, four flat electric wires 12
Since the stripping process can be performed at the same time, the exposed lengths of the exposed portions 19 are uniform, and the insulating members 11 are not individually stripped, which simplifies the manufacturing method.

部22は薄型になり狭スペース配線に優れる。According to the wire harness of the first embodiment described above, the exposed portion 19 is formed by peeling off the end portion of the flat wire 12 at the end portion of each branch portion 15 thereof, and the exposed portions 19 are aligned to be flush with each other. In parallel with each other, a conductor connecting tape 20 is attached from the exposed portion 19 on one surface side to the insulating member 11 near the exposed portion 19 to form a terminal portion 22 to be inserted into a connected terminal on the device side. Since it is not necessary to attach the crimp terminal to the end of the round electric wire and insert the crimp terminal into the connector as in the conventional case, the structure is simplified and the manufacturing method is also simplified. Further, the terminal portion 22 is thin and excellent in narrow space wiring.
