(57) [Summary] [Purpose] To reduce the load on the wires when multiple terminal fittings are stacked. [Configuration] Two types of terminal fittings 10 and 20 are used. The terminal fittings are assembled at regular angular intervals with a counterclockwise displacement. When the upper terminal metal fitting 20 is assembled on the lower terminal metal fitting 10 having been assembled with four pieces, the upper barrel portion 22 is positioned so as to substantially correspond to the lowermost barrel portion 12 of the lower tier, and the upper terminal metal fitting 20 is further assembled. The barrel portion 22 is placed within the expansion range of the lower barrel portion 12. Therefore, even if the electric wires connected to the barrel portions 12 and 22 are wired together, the bending curvature of the electric wires is small and the bending stress of the electric wires is small.

The electric wire connecting portions 3 and 3 are opened by an angular interval θ formed by the locking piece 4 and the locking piece 4. Further, when the terminal fittings 1 are successively stacked, the electric wire connecting portions 3 of the respective terminal fittings 1 are helically aligned while being spaced counterclockwise about the center point O by an angular interval θ. Therefore, as the number of terminal fittings 1 to be stacked increases, the lowermost wire connecting portion 3
The angle formed by the extending direction of the electric wire 6 from and the extending direction of the electric wire 6 from the uppermost electric wire connecting portion 3 becomes large. In such a state that the number of the terminal fittings 1 overlapped and the electric wires 6 spread at a large angle, when all the electric wires 6 are bundled and wired in the same direction, the electric wires 6 located on the end side have a large curvature. The electric wire 6 is bent due to excessive stress, which causes a heavy load.

The expansion range of the connection portion does not continuously increase in the circumferential direction, but overlaps with the expansion range of the electric wire connection portion on the other side. Therefore, even if a plurality of terminal metal fitting groups are stacked and assembled, the expansion range of the electric wire connecting portion can be set within substantially the same range as the expansion range of the single terminal metal fitting group. With this, even if the number of terminal fittings increases, the expansion range of the wire connecting portion can be kept within a certain range.

An edge portion 14 is formed at a position opposite to the edge portion 14 so as to have a partially increased outer diameter.
Are arranged on a concentric circle centered on the center point P, and the locking piece 1
5 and a locking hole (lock receiving portion which is a constituent of the present invention) 16 are formed. The locking piece 15 is formed by partially raising the edge side portion 14 to the upper side, and is inclined so that the clockwise side in FIG. 2 represented by a plane becomes higher. On the other hand, the locking hole 16 is formed so as to penetrate from the upper surface to the lower surface of the edge side portion 14, and when the fitting holes 13 are aligned and the two lower terminal fittings 10, 10 are superposed in a normal state, As shown in FIG. 4, the lower terminal fittings 10, 10 are displaced in the circumferential direction so that the engaging hole 16 of the upper lower terminal fitting 10 and the engaging piece 15 of the lower lower terminal fitting 10 are engaged with each other. It goes under and the projection 19 is pressed against the lower surface. Engagement of the submerged plate portion 17 and the lifting prevention piece 18 prevents the lower terminal fittings 10 and 10 from being separated from each other in the vertical direction, and friction between the rising prevention piece 18 and the protrusion 19 prevents both lower steps. The terminal fittings 10, 10 are prevented from easily rotating relative to each other in the circumferential direction, so that the lower terminal fittings 10, 10 are assembled in a normal state in a predetermined relative positional relationship as shown in FIG. In this state, the upper lower terminal metal fitting 10 is rotated relative to the clockwise direction so that the upper and lower floating preventing pieces 18,
18 are prevented by abutting each other, and conversely, counterclockwise relative rotation is prevented by engagement of the locking piece 15 and the locking hole 16.

The reference is based on the angular interval between the surfaces that are in contact with each other. Further, how to set the angle between the locking piece 15 and the barrel portion 12 is determined by the contact surface of the locking piece 15 with the locking hole 16 and the width direction (circumferential direction) of the barrel portion 12. The angle interval between a radial center line passing through the center (hereinafter referred to as a reference position Q) is used as a reference.

In order to make the positional relationship of 0 with the barrel portion 12 easy to understand, it is represented by a straight line extending in the radial direction from the center point P similarly to the position reference Q of the barrel portion 12 (see FIG. 7).
On the other hand, the position where the barrel portion 22 is actually formed is parallel to the reference position R and is displaced clockwise. By thus setting the actual forming position of the barrel portion 22 and the reference position R so as to be offset from each other, the reference positions Q and R of the lower barrel portion 12 and the upper barrel portion 22 in the assembled state, which will be described later, are set. It becomes possible to prevent the lower barrel portion 12 and the upper barrel portion 22 from interfering with each other.

いる。The angle interval of 80 ° formed by the reference position R of the barrel portion 22 with respect to the locking hole 26 is the same as the lowermost barrel portion 12 in the state where four lower terminal fittings 10 are assembled as described above. It is the same as the angular interval between the uppermost locking piece 15. The uppermost locking piece 15 is engaged with the locking hole 26 of the upper terminal fitting 20.

As shown in FIG. 12, the reference position R of the barrel portion 22 on the upper stage side is not located so as to spread further counterclockwise with respect to the portion 12, but the reference position R of the lowermost barrel portion 12 of the lower terminal metal fitting group 10 is. It will coincide with the position Q. That is, the same type of lower terminal metal fitting 1
When assembling 0 and 10 with each other, the barrel part 12 shifts counterclockwise by 30 ° (see FIGS. 4 and 5), while the lower terminal fitting 10 is different from the upper terminal fitting. When 20 is assembled, as shown in FIG. 11, the barrel portion 22 on the upper side is the barrel portion 12 on the lower side.
A large 90 ° offset to return clockwise with respect to the above, therefore, as shown in FIG. 12, the barrel portion 22 on the upper stage side should be arranged at the same position as the start position of the displacement of the barrel portion 12 on the lower stage side. become.

The spread range of 2, 22 is set within an angle range slightly larger than the spread range of 90 ° which is the spread range of the barrel portions 12, 22 of one terminal fitting group. Therefore, when the eight electric wires W connected to the barrel portions 12 and 22 are bundled and wired in the same direction, the curvature of the electric wire W that can be bent is small, and an excessive bending stress is generated in the electric wire W, resulting in a burden. It doesn't take big.
