Abstract

PURPOSE: To mechanize the cleaning of a signboard wall-surface such as a road mark, and thereby improve operating efficiency by ejecting a high pressure water from the jet nozzle on a scattering preventive cover, and washing a contaminant off the surface of a wall, and at the same time, sucking a foul water from the interior of the scattering preventive cover using a vacuum liquid discharge means. CONSTITUTION: When cleaning a signboard such as a road mark, a wall-surface cleaning device A is caused to approach the signboard B by operating a ladder on a vehicle for working at a high elevation as a first step, and a propelling member 1 is caused to advance by driving an air cylinder 3. Further, a scattering-preventive cover 9 is moved forward through a fluctuation bracket 4 and a slide base 6, and the interior of the scattering preventive cover 9 is hermetically sealed by attaching a rubber blade 10 to the surface of the signboard B airtightly. After that, a high pressure cleaning water is ejected from the jet nozzle of the mural cleaning device A by driving a vacuum pump and a high pressure pump on a recycle-type high pressure cleaning vehicle, and dust or dirt sticking to the signboard B is washed off. At the same time, a foul water is aspirated from the interior of the scattering preventive cover 9. Thus it is possible to improve operating efficiency and achieve the amelioration of a sanitary condition for the health of an operator.
