Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】表示入力機能付ＩＣカードにおいて、ワンタッ
チキーを押下するだけでわずらわしいキー操作を行うこ
となくＡＴＭでの操作をカード利用者に音声で案内可能
とするＩＣカードの提供。 【構成】カード表側に表示と入力をかねたキーボードデ
ィスプレイを備え、カード裏側に超小型の音声出力圧電
素子が埋め込まれており、ＡＴＭ使用時にカード利用者
の入出金情報をキー入力から表示部へ表示できると共
に、ワンタッチキーを押下するだけで、カード利用者
に、必要なＡＴＭでの操作を音声で案内するように構成
されている。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、ＩＣカードに関し、特
に、表示入力機能付ＩＣカードに関する。より詳細に
は、本発明は、例えば自動預金支払機などの自動取引機
で取引媒体として用いるＩＣカードに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】この種の自動取引機に使用されるＩＣカ
ードとして、取引使用時に、自動取引機側から取引デー
タ等をＩＣカードに書込み、このＩＣカードに備えられ
たディスプレイによって、カード利用者に取引データ等
を表示させるものがある。
【０００３】また、例えば特開平３−４２２９７号公報
には、図３に示すように、ＩＣカード３１全面をディス
プレイ面とし、このディスプレイ面にキーボード用タッ
チパネルを重ねてキーボードディスプレイ３２として、
キーボードの大型化及び表示エリアの大型化を図り、入
力の操作性を向上したキーボードディスプレイ付きＩＣ
カードが提案されている。同公報には、この入力キーの
操作で、大型表示エリアに多様なデータ情報を表示でき
るＩＣカードの構成がいくつか提案されている。
【０００４】図４に、ＩＣカード３１の入力表示の変化
過程を説明する図を示す。例えば、ＩＣカード３１のＭ
ＥＮＵキーを一回押すと残高照会、ＭＥＮＵキーを２回
押すと図４（Ａ）のような預金取引き履歴照会がディス
プレイ面２上に表示され、図４（Ａ）においてＹＥＳキ
ーを押すと、図４（Ｂ）に示すような大量データ表示画
面となり、データ表示によってタッチパネルのキースイ
ッチは消去されるが、画面操作上必要なキースイッチ入
力部３はディスプレイ面２に表示され続けるものとされ
ている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】前記のように、従来の
キーボードディスプレイ付ＩＣカード３１は、入力操作
や、表示方法に関して著しい改善がみられ、データの表
示、入力等は、現状の技術で詳細まで入力、表示が可能
であるが、例えば振込が必要な場合、あるいは、引き落
し日が間近にせまっているが残高が不足している場合等
において、これらの情報を得る場合に検索等に時間を要
し、且つキー操作も煩雑であるという問題がある。
【０００６】従って、本発明は、従来の表示入力機能付
ＩＣカードにおける前記問題点を解消し、煩雑なキー操
作を不要とすると共に、ワンタッチキー操作等の極めて
容易な操作で、例えばＡＴＭ等でのオペレーションを音
声にてカード利用者に案内可能とするＩＣカードを提供
することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】前記目的を達成するた
め、本発明の音声案内可能表示入力機能付ＩＣカード
は、表示機能と入力機能を持つＩＣカードにおいて、所
定のキーを押下することにより、カード利用者にオペレ
ーションの促しを音声により案内するように構成されて
いることを特徴とするものである。
【０００８】また、本発明においては、ＩＣカードの一
側にキーボードディスプレイを備え、ＩＣカードの他側
に音声案内出力用の音声出力素子を備えている。
【０００９】さらに、本発明においては、音声案内をワ
ンタッチで制御する音声案内キーをＩＣカードの一側に
備えたことを特徴とする。

【発明の好適な態様】本発明は、その好適な態様におい
て、表示用のディスプレイと、入力用タッチパネルと、
音声案内を行う音声出力素子と、を有しており、該音声
案内素子は、超小型の物でＩＣカードの表示入力面と反
対側（裏面）に実装され、ＩＣカード内のマイクロプロ
セッサ、ＲＯＭ、ＲＡＭ等により、入力及び表示の制御
が行なわれるとともに、データ編集を行い音声案内によ
りカード利用者にガイダンスを可能とする制御を実装し
ている。

【実施例】次に本発明について図面を参照して説明す
る。図１は、本発明の音声案内可能表示入力機能付ＩＣ
カードの一実施例の平面図である。
【００１２】ＩＣカード１１は、カード表側全面が表示
と入力をかねたキーボードディスプレイ１２とされ、カ
ード裏側に音声案内出力用の音声出力圧電素子１３が埋
め込まれた構造になっている。
【００１３】また、キーボードディスプレイ１２には、
音声案内がワンタッチで出力される音声案内キー（ＶＯ
ＩＣＥ）１４を有している。
【００１４】なお、図１の平面図において、キーボード
ディスプレイ１２には、電卓機能と、メニュー選択キー
（ＭＥＮＵ）、退出用のキー（ＱＵＩＴ）等の配置が示
されると共に、ディスプレイ表示の一例が示されている
が、これはあくまで説明のためのものであり、本発明は
これらの配置・態様に限定されるものではない。
【００１５】外部インタフェースとしては、カード裏面
にコンタクト１５を有している。
【００１６】図２に、本発明の一実施例に係るＩＣカー
ドの制御回路図を示す。
【００１７】図２において、２１は、入力、表示、演
算、編集、外部とのデータ処理及び制御を行うＣＰＵ
（中央処理装置）、２２はＣＰＵ２１の制御プログラム
が格納されているＲＯＭ（リードオンリーメモリ）、２
３はデータ格納用ＲＡＭ（ランダムアクセスメモリ）、
２４はタッチパネル入力制御部、２５はタッチパネル、
２６は表示ＬＣＤドライバ、２７は表示用のＬＣＤ（液
晶ディスプレイ）、２８は自動取引機との外部インタフ
ェース制御部、１５は自動取引機との外部コンタクト、
２９はＩＣカードを駆動する電池である。電池２９は太
陽電池でもよい。３０は、メモリ保護用バックアップ電
源である（スーパーキャパシタ等）。また、３５は音声
ドライバ、１３は音声出力素子である。
【００１８】上記実施例で説明した本発明に係るＩＣカ
ードは、好ましくは、自動現金預払機（以下「ＡＴＭ」
という）に用いられる。
【００１９】すなわち、ＩＣカード１１を不図示のＡＴ
Ｍに挿入して取引を実行すると、ＣＰＵ２１により外部
コンタクト１５を介して、利用者のデータ（残高、取引
種別、金額等）がＡＴＭに入力され、不図示のホストコ
ンピュータに伝送され、マスターファイルが更新され
る。
【００２０】そして、マスターファイルの更新データ
が、ＡＴＭと接続される外部コンタクト１５を介してＩ
Ｃカード１１内のＲＡＭ２３に格納される。
【００２１】このように用いられるＩＣカード１１にお
いて、更新されたデータをタッチパネル２５により入力
することにより、ＡＴＭを介在させなくてもデータの編
集が行え、ＬＣＤ２７に残高、入出金情報を表示でき
る。
【００２２】本発明に係るＩＣカードでは、必要に応じ
て編集を行った結果を基に、振込や入金が必要なガイダ
ンス（案内）を、ワンタッチキー（ＶＯＩＣＥ）１４を
押下するだけで、音声ドライバ３５を介して音声出力素
子１３より音声案内により行なうことが可能とされる。
【００２３】また、毎月決った日に、定期的に振込が必
要な場合や、引き落しが行なわれる場合には、予めタッ
チパネル２５よりこれらの情報を登録することが可能と
される他、更に、更新データとの比較を行い、残高不足
のため入金処理が必要な旨のガイダンスを音声出力素子
１３より音声案内にて行なうことも可能とされる。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように、本発明は、表示入
力機能付ＩＣカードにおいて、音声案内を可能とする構
成としたため、従来の詳細データの検索表示をさせるこ
とはもとより、カード利用者がワンタッチキーを押下す
るだけで適切なガイダンスを音声によって案内すること
が可能とされ、わずらわしいキー操作無しに、カード利
用者にＡＴＭでのオペレーションを促すという効果があ
り、ＩＣカードの操作性、利便性を特段に向上するもの
である。
【００２５】また、本発明においては、ＩＣカードの一
側にキーボードディスプレイを備え、他側に音声案内出
力用の音声出力素子を備えた構成により、ＩＣカードの
厚さの増大を抑止した構成とされ、ＩＣカードの小型化
・軽量化を保ちながら、その操作性を向上している。
【００２６】さらに、本発明においては、音声案内をワ
ンタッチで制御する音声案内キーをキーボードディスプ
レイに備えたことにより、カード利用者は初心者でも誤
操作なく容易に音声案内を得ることができ、操作の容易
化を実現している。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】表示機能と入力機能を持つＩＣカードにお
    いて、所定のキーを押下することにより、カード利用者
    にオペレーションの促しを音声により案内するように構
    成されたことを特徴とする音声案内可能な表示入力機能
    付のＩＣカード。
  2. 【請求項２】一側にキーボードディスプレイを備え、他
    側に音声案内出力用の音声出力素子を備えたことを特徴
    とする請求項１記載の音声案内可能表示入力機能付のＩ
    Ｃカード。
  3. 【請求項３】音声案内をワンタッチで制御する音声案内
    キーを前記一側に備えたことを特徴とする請求項２記載
    の音声案内可能表示入力機能付のＩＣカード。
