持部を設け、この各工具保持部に所定の交換工具を夫々
保持し、この工具保持部に保持されている交換工具を着
脱自在に取り出し装着し得る装着部を有する工具装着体
を水平移動並びに上下移動自在に設け、この工具装着体
を移動させ回転体を所定角度回動させて所望の交換工具
を工具装着体の下方に位置せしめた上で、工具装着体を
下降させて装着部に所望の交換工具を装着させ、工具装
着体を移動することで所望の交換工具を回転体から取り
出す工具取り替え装置において、前記複数の交換工具を
保持した回転体を、所定間隔を置いて上下方向に重合状
態にして複数段回転自在に配設し、少なくとも最下段を
除く上段側の各回転体の周縁の所定位置に前記工具保持
部に代えて下降する工具装着体が通過下降し得る昇降通
過部を形成したことを特徴とする工具取り替え装置。1.
