(Operation) In the lower mold thus constructed, the injection hole is communicated with the molten metal of the holding furnace through the stalk, and the upper mold is combined to define an annular product cavity. When the upper surface of the molten metal inside is pressurized and the molten metal is supplied from the injection hole through the stoke, the supplied molten metal is filled in the product cavity. Next, when the pressurization of the molten metal in the holding furnace is stopped, the molten metal in the injection hole and the stalk returns to the holding furnace, and as a result, the molten metal is supplied to the product cavity up to the height of the inner wall of the depression, Will be filled into the product cavity with high precision.

(Example) An example will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, a lower die (3) is attached to the upper surface of a lower die plate (2) having an opening (1). As shown in FIG. 2, the lower mold (3) has an annular recess (4) for manufacturing products, and the inner wall of the recess (4) has a height corresponding to that of the mold matching surface. A funnel-shaped injection hole that is constructed lower (see FIG. 1) and penetrates vertically to approximately the center of the space surrounded by the annular recess (4) and communicates with the upper end of the inner wall of the recess (4). (5) is formed. Further, as shown in FIG. 1, a molten metal holding furnace (6) is arranged immediately below the opening (1) of the lower die plate (2), and the injection hole (5) has an intermediate stalk (7). And through the stalk (8) into the holding furnace (6). Further, an upper die (9) is disposed above and below the lower die (3) so as to be able to move up and down through an upper die plate (10). A protrusion (9a) capable of defining an annular product cavity with the recess (4) of the mold (3) and a through hole (15) into which a plunger (12) described later can be inserted (is formed). (See FIG. 2). Further, a cylinder (1) facing downward is provided at a position directly above the upper die (9) in the upper die plate (10).
1) is installed, and the plunger (12) is fixed to the lower end of the piston rod of the cylinder (11). The plunger (12) defines the upper and lower molds (9) (3). Has a protrusion (12a) that can be inserted into the product cavity (see FIG. 2). Further, on the lower surface of the upper die plate (10), two downward facing cylinders (14) having push-out rods (13) that slidably penetrate the plunger (12) are mounted.

Next, the procedure for forging the molten metal using the apparatus configured as described above will be explained. After the molten metal is charged into the holding furnace (6), the upper die plate (10) is used to insert the upper die (9). Down to define an annular product cavity inward of the recess (4) with the lower mold (3), and then supply compressed air into the holding furnace (6) to raise the upper surface of the molten metal. Pressurized, which causes the molten metal in the holding furnace (6) to be injected through the stalk (8) and the intermediate stalk (7).
From inside to fill the product cavity. When the compressed air is discharged from the holding furnace (6) after the molten metal has been filled in the product cavity, the molten metal in the intermediate stalks (7) and stalks (8) returns to the holding furnace (6) and the second
As shown in the figure, the molten metal is depressed in the product cavity (4).
It is accumulated up to the height of the inner wall of the, and as a result, the molten metal is injected into the product cavity with high accuracy. Then
The cylinder (11) is extended to press the molten metal by the protrusion (12a) of the plunger (12) for pressure forging. After solidification of the forged molten metal, the upper die (9) for the product, the plunger (12), etc. are raised through the upper die plate (10),
Then, the cylinders (14) (14) are extended to push out the product from the upper mold (9) and the plunger (12) via the pushing rods (13) (13). Then the cylinder (11),
(14) is contracted to raise the plunger (12) and the push-out rod (13) to complete one cycle.

In the above embodiment, the protrusion (9) of the upper die (9) is used.
a) is configured to be inserted into the recess (4) of the lower mold (3) to define the product cavity, but the protrusion (9a)
Even when the product cavity is defined by the upper mold (9) and the lower mold (3) which do not have the same function and effect.

(Effect of the Invention) As is clear from the above description, if the lower mold of the present invention is used to define the product cavity, the product cavity can be formed by simply pressurizing the molten metal through the injection hole through the stalk. It has excellent practical effects such as the ability to inject molten metal with high precision.
