In the conventional general technology, a current transformer or a coaxial shunt is attached to the current observation position of the steel tower, the current is converted to light using a light emitting diode, etc., and it is pulled down to the ground by an optical fiber and installed on the ground. In the shielded observation hut, the optical signal is converted into an electrical signal again to observe the waveform.

The present invention was made in response to this need.A battery was used as a power source and a device was simply attached to the tower to store the current waveform of the lightning current flowing through the tower, the date and time of the lightning strike, the polarity, the energy of the lightning stroke, etc. at a later inspection. By reading with a waveform reading device from the outside, it is possible to easily measure the lightning current of the tower without requiring large-scale equipment.

Has the effect of becoming. Moreover, this not only collects valuable data for improving the lightning resistance performance of the transmission line, but is also useful for maintenance of the transmission line, such as measures against fusing of the overhead ground wire due to lightning.
