Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 基準周波数を有する基準信号を発生する基準信号ソース、 前記基準信号ソースに接続されており、それにより前記基準信号を受け取るく し形周波数発生器であって、前記基準信号の整数の倍数のそれぞれである各くし 形スペクトル周波数により特徴付けられる複数のくし形スペクトル信号を発生す るものである前記くし形周波数発生器、 前記くし形周波数発生器に接続されており、それにより前記複数のくし形スペ クトル周波数を受け取るフィルタ手段であって、前記複数のくし形スペクトル信 号から1つの信号を選択するためのものであり、その1つの信号は前記くし形ス ペクトル周波数の1つの周波数におけるものであり、その1つの信号を出力する ものである前記フィルタ手段、及び フェーズロックドループであって、 前記フィルタ手段に接続されており、それにより前記1つの信号を受け取る位 相検出器であって、制御信号を出力するものである位相検出器、 前記位相検出器に接続されており、それにより前記制御信号を受け取る電圧制 御発振器(VCO)であって、出力電力を有するVCO出力信号を出力する前記 VCO、 前記VCOに接続されており、それにより前記VCO出力信号を受け取るカプ ラであって、前記出力電力の実質的に全てを有する第1のカプラ出力信号を出力 し、前記出力電力の残りの部分を有する第2のカプラ出力信号を出力する前記カ プラ、及び 前記カプラに接続されており、それにより前記第2のカプラ出力信号を受け取 る単側波帯(SSB)ミクサ回路であって、フィードバック信号を出力し、前記 位相検出器に接続されており、それにより前記位相検出器が前記フィードバック 信号を受け取るものである前記SSBミクサ回路を含む前記フェーズロックドル ープを含む、周波数シンセサイザ。 2. 微同調周波数を有する微同調信号を発生する微同調信号ソースをさらに含 み、該微同調信号ソースは前記SSBミクサ回路に接続されており、前記SSB ミクサ回路はそれにより前記微同調信号を受け取り、前記SSBミクサ回路は前 記第2のカプラ出力信号の周波数を前記微同調周波数の量によりオフセットする ものである、請求項1に記載の周波数シンセサイザ。 3. 前記SSBミクサ回路が、 前記カプラ及び前記微同調信号ソースに接続されており、それにより前記第2 のカプラ出力信号及び前記微同調信号を受け取るものであるSSBミクサであっ て、前記第2のカプラ出力信号の前記周波数を前記量によりオフセットし、オフ セット周波数信号を出力する前記SSBミクサ、及び 前記SSBミクサ及び前記位相検出器の間に直列に接続された第1の周波数分 割器回路を含み、 前記フィルタ手段が、 前記くし形周波数発生器に接続されたくし形線帯域フィルタ、及び 前記くし形線帯域フィルタ及び前記位相検出器の間に直列に接続された第2の 周波数分割器回路を含む、請求項2に記載の周波数シンセサイザ。 4. 前記第1の周波数分割器回路の周波数分割比が前記第2の周波数分割器回 路の周波数分割比に等しい、請求項3に記載の周波数シンセサイザ。 5. 前記第1の周波数分割器回路がSSB帯域フィルタを含み、それにより前 記オフセット周波数のスプリアススペクトル線が減衰されるものである、請求項 3に記載の周波数シンセサイザ。 6. 前記くし形周波数発生器及び前記フィルタ手段の間に直列に接続された入 力ミクサ、 前記カプラに接続されており、それにより前記第1のカプラ出力信号を受け取 る出力ミクサであって、合成周波数信号を出力するものである出力ミクサ、及び 前記入力ミクサ及び前記出力ミクサに接続された粗同調信号ソースであって、 粗同調周波数を有する粗同調信号を出力するものである粗同調信号ソースをさら に含み、 前記入力ミクサは、前記粗同調周波数の量により前記くし形スペクトル周波数 のそれぞれをオフセットし、それにより前記くし形スペクトル周波数の1つの周 波数が周波数において前記フィルタ手段の通過域内の周波数にシフトされ、それ により前記1つの信号が選択されるものであり、 前記出力ミクサは、前記粗同調周波数の量により、前記くし形スペクトル周波 数の前記オフセットとは逆の方向に前記第1のカプラ出力信号の周波数をオフセ ットし、それにより希望合成周波数を有する合成周波数信号が出力されるもので ある、請求項2に記載の周波数シンセサイザ。 7. 前記SSBミクサ回路が、 前記カプラ及び前記微同調信号ソースに接続されており、それにより前記第2 のカプラ出力信号及び前記微同調信号を受け取るものであるSSBミクサであっ て、前記第2のSSBミクサが前記第2のカプラ出力信号の周波数を前記量によ りオフセットするものであり、オフセット周波数信号を出力する前記SSBミク サ、及び 前記SSBミクサ及び前記位相検出器の間に直列に接続された第1の周波数分 割器回路であって、SSBミクサ帯域フィルタを含み、それにより前記オフセッ ト周波数信号のスプリアススペクトル線が減衰されるものである前記第1の周波 数分割器回路を含み、 前記フィルタ手段が、 前記くし形周波数発生器に接続されたくし形線帯域フィルタ、及び 前記くし形線帯域フィルタ及び前記位相検出器の間に直列に接続された第2の 周波数分割器回路を含み、 前記第2のカプラの出力信号の前記周波数の前記オフセットの前記量は、前記 くし形スペクトル周波数の隣接する周波数の間の周波数間隔未満である、請求項 6に記載の周波数シンセサイザ。
