Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.以下の工程:即ち、 a)スチレンポリマー材料の総重量を基準としてスチレンモノマー単位を50重 量%以上有するスチレンポリマー材料を加熱して溶融ポリマー材料を作る工程; b)高温において、発泡剤の総重量を基準として水を1重量%又はそれ以上含む 発泡剤を、溶融ポリマー材料の中に混和して発泡可能ゲルを作る工程;及び c)減圧下で、該発泡可能ゲルを膨張させてフォーム構造を作る工程を含む単一 形体セルサイズ分布を有するスチレンポリマーフォーム構造を作る方法において 、スチレンポリマー材料が、発泡可能ゲルの膨張時に、単一形体セルサイズ分布 のスチレンポリマーフォーム構造の形成を提供するのに十分な水溶性を有するこ とを特徴とする方法。 2.発泡可能ゲルを最適発泡温度まで冷却し、次にダイを通して減圧域に押出 して、フォーム構造を作る請求項1記載の方法。 3.核剤を、溶融ポリマー材料の中に混和する請求項1又は2記載の方法。 4.溶融ポリマー材料中に混和された発泡剤が、発泡剤の総重量を基準として 、水を3重量%又はそれ以上含む請求項1,2又は3記載の方法。 5.ポリマー溶融材料が、125℃において、溶融ポリマー材料100重量部 当たり水0.4重量部又はそれ以上の水溶性を有する請求項1,2又は3記載の 方法。 6.可溶化剤を溶融ポリマー材料の中に混和して、可溶化剤が存在していない 対応溶融ポリマー材料よりも水溶性を増大させる請求項1,2又は3記載の方法 。 7.ポリマー溶融材料が、125℃において、溶融ポリマー材料100重量部 当たり水3重量部又はそれ以上の水溶性を有する請求項1,2又は3記載の方法 。 8.以下の工程:即ち、 a)スチレンポリマー材料の総重量を基準としてスチレンモノマー単位を50重 量%以上有するスチレンポリマー材料を加熱して溶融ポリマー材料を作る工程; b)該溶融ポリマー材料の中に発泡剤を混和して発泡可能ゲルを作る工程、該発 泡剤は、実質的に複形体セルサイズ分布を有し、且つポリスチレンの20重量% 又はそれ未満が20,000未満の分子量をそれぞれ有する独立ポリマー分子で ある、実質的に平均分子量200,000の該ポリスチレンから成るフォーム構 造の形成を提供するのに十分な量の水を有する:及び c)減圧下で、該発泡可能ゲルを膨張させてフォーム構造を作る工程を含む単一 形体セルサイズ分布を有するスチレンポリマーフォーム構造を作る方法において 、スチレンポリマー材料が、発泡可能ゲルの膨張時に、単一形体セルサイズ分布 のスチレンポリマーフォーム構造の形成を提供するのに十分な水溶性を有するこ とを特徴とする方法。 9.上記請求項のいずれかに記載の方法によって得ることができる単一形体ス チレンポリマーフォーム構造。
