Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.支持手段に物理的かつ電気的に接続されるよう適合され、生体組織に電気信 号を与える刺激手段と、 その刺激手段と物理的かつ電気的に接続するための接続手段を有しユーザーに 遠隔的に取り付けられるよう適合された支持手段とを備えてなる生体組織に刺激 信号を与える電気刺激システム。 2.前記支持手段が、その支持手段がユーザーに適所で装着されたときユーザー の皮膚に面するように適合できる少なくとも2つの電極パッドを支持するよう適 合され、 前記刺激手段が、その刺激手段が支持手段に接続されたとき電極パッドに電気 的に接続されるように適合された出力コネクターを含む請求項1記載の電気刺激 システム。 3.前記支持手段が、刺激手段を受け入れる硬質キャリヤーを含み、この硬質キ ャリヤーが一連のキーコネクターを含み、刺激手段の出力コネクターが、刺激手 段が硬質キャリヤーに取り付けられたときそのキーコネクターに電気的に接続さ れてなる請求項1記載の電気刺激システム。 4.前記支持手段が、ネオプレン装具からなり、前記硬質キャリヤーが、その装 具に取り付けられた成形プラスチックキャリヤーからなり、 前記刺激手段が、そのキャリヤーに沿って設けられた突起に係合する溝を備え てなる請求項1記載の電気刺激システム。 5.前記電極パッドが、支持手段から選択的に取り外し可能で、かつ装具の別の 位置に配することが可能な請求項2記載の電気刺激システム。 6.前記電極パッドが、皮膚に接触する面が含水ガーゼ材で覆われ、装具に接触 する面がループ材で覆われたシリコン導電ラバー電極からなり、 前記含水ガーゼ材が、皮膚と電極との間に導電水の層を形成するように水分を 保持してなる請求項5記載の電気刺激システム。 7.前記キーコネクターのうちの少なくとも2つが前記電極パッドに接続された 請求項3記載の電気刺激システム。 8.前記刺激装置が、刺激されるべき負荷にインピーダンス整合するような搬送 周波数を選択するマイクロコントローラーを備えてなる請求項3記載の電気刺激 システム。 9.前記キーコネクターの数値が、電極パッドの大きさを表し、出力コネクター とキーコネクターとの接続によって、マイクロコントローラーが、電極パッドの 大きさを判定するとともにその電極パッドの大きさに基づいて搬送周波数を調整 する請求項8記載の電気刺激システム。 10.前記キーコネクターが7つ設けられ、その内の2つのコネクターが電気刺 激システムの第1チャネルの電極パッドに電気的に接続され、その内の残りの2 つのコネクターが第2チャネルの電極パッドに接続され、その内の残りの3つの コネクターが電極パッドの大きさを判定するための3ビットコード を表してなる請求項9記載の電気刺激システム。 11.前記刺激手段が、波形の振幅を増加させる第1の強度制御キーと、波形の 振幅を減少させる第2の強度制御キーとを備えてなる請求項1記載の電気刺激シ ステム。 12.前記刺激手段が、波形の治療用周波数を増加させる第1の周波数制御キー と、波形の治療用周波数を減少させる第2の周波数制御キーとを備えてなる請求 項1記載の電気刺激システム。 13.前記刺激手段が、波形の治療用周波の振幅を増減させる強度サージキーと 、波形の治療用周波数を増減させる周波数サージキーと、周波数の減少につれて 振幅が増加するとともに周波数の増加につれて振幅が減少するように治療用波形 の振幅と周波数を変更する強度/周波数サージキーと、サージ周期の周波数を制 御するサージレートキーを備えてなる請求項1記載の電気刺激システム。 14.前記刺激手段が、電力を供給するための取り外し可能な電源を備えてなる 請求項1記載の電気刺激システム。 15.人体に接続された支持装置に差し込まれ、支持装置が少なくとも2つの電 極パッドを備えるように配設された電気刺激装置であって、 この電気刺激装置を支持装置に取り付ける取り付け手段と、 この電気刺激装置が支持装置に取り付けられたとき支持装置に設けられた一連 のキーコネクターに電気的に接続されるように適合可能でありその内の少なくと も2つが少なくとも2つの 電極パッドに接続可能な一連の出力コネクターと、 治療用周波と搬送周波とを含む波形からなる刺激信号を発生するパルス発生手 段とを備えてなる電気刺激装置。 16.前記取り付け手段が、電気刺激装置のハウジングの第1の側に設けられた 第1の溝とハウジングの第2の側に設けられた第2の溝とからなり、これら第1 の溝と第2の溝が、支持装置の硬質のキャリヤーに設けられた突起部分に係合さ れるように適合可能な請求項15記載の電気刺激装置。 17.所定の数の出力コネクターが支持装置の所定の数のキーコネクターに係合 可能であり、装具のキーコネクターが電極パッドの大きさを表し、それによって パルス発生手段が電極にインピーダンス整合する搬送周波数を有する刺激信号を 発生する請求項15記載の電気刺激装置。 18.波形の振幅の大きさを増加させる第1の強度制御キーと、波形の振幅の大 きさを減少させる第2の強度制御キーとをさらに備えてなる請求項15記載の電 気刺激装置。 19.波形の治療用周波数を増加させる第1の周波数制御キーと、波形の治療用 周波数を減少させる第2の周波数制御キーとをさらに備えてなる請求項15記載 の電気刺激装置。 20.波形の治療用周波の振幅を増減させるように操作可能な強度サージキーを さらに備えてなる請求項15記載の電気刺激装置。 21.波形の治療用周波数を周期的に増減させるように操作可能な周波数サージ キーをさらに備えてなる請求項15記載の電 気刺激装置。 22.治療用周波数の減少につれて振幅が増加するとともに治療用周波数の増加 につれて振幅が減少するように、波形の治療用周波の振幅と周波数を周期的に変 更させるよう操作可能な強度/周波数サージキーをさらに備えてなる請求項15 記載の電気刺激装置。 23.変化する治療用波形のそれぞれについて周期レートを制御するサージレー トキーをさらに備えてなる請求項15記載の電気刺激システム。 24.ユーザーに接続され、治療用周波を含むパルス刺激信号を発生させる刺激 装置を受け入れ可能な支持装置であって、 刺激装置を受け入れるための一連の電気コネクターを有し刺激装置が取り付け られたときには刺激装置の出力コネクターがその一連の電気コネクターに電気的 に接触するキャリヤーを備え、 前記キャリヤーが、支持装置の内側面に離脱可能に取り付けられ、装具がユー ザーの体に位置するときユーザーの皮膚に面するように適合可能な少なくとも2 つの電極パッド有してなる人体ユーザーに接続するための支持装置。 25.前記支持装置が、ネオプレン装具からなり、前記キャリヤーが、その装具 に取り付けられた成形プラスチックキャリヤーからなる請求項24記載の支持装 置。 26.前記キャリヤーが、刺激手段に設けられた溝に係合することが可能な一組 の突起を備えてなる請求項24記載の装具。 27.前記電極パッドが、支持装置から選択的に取り外し可能で、かつ支持装置 の別の位置に配することが可能な請求項24記載の装具。 28.前記電極パッドが、皮膚に接触する面が含水ガーゼ材で覆われ、装具に接 触する面がループ材で覆われたシリコン導電ラバー電極からなり、 前記含水ガーゼ材が、皮膚と電極との間に導電水の層を形成するように水分を 保持してなる請求項24記載の電気刺激システム。
