Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.複数の治療角度で患者に向けられた放射ビームを発生させるための照射線源 を有し、前記ビームは1つの中心光線に対して間隔を置いて隣接する複数の線束 を含み、それぞれの線束はエネルギーフルエンスを有し、前記エネルギーフルエ ンスは相互に不均一な線源フルエンスプロファイルを形成して成る放射療法装置 において、 前記患者のための所望のフルエンスプロファイルと前記不均一な線源フルエン スプロファイルとを受け取り、どのように前記不均一な線源プロファイルを変更 して前記所望のフルエンスプロファイルを生成すべきかを表わす作業サイクルを 作成するための線量計算器、 前記線量計算器から前記作業サイクルを受け取って、それぞれの所望のフルエ ンスプロファイルに対応する減衰プロファイルを発生させるための制御装置、及 び 前記減衰プロファイルを受け取り、前記放射ビームの線束を減衰させて、前記 放射ビームの前記不均一な線源フルエンスプロファイルを補正し、前記所望のフ ルエンスプロファイルを作成するためのコンペンセータ を具備してなる減衰装置。 2.前記コンペンセータが、 複数の放射減衰リーフ、 支持構造対であって、 前記放射ビーム内部のラックを中心としそれぞれのリーフが前記ビームの1 つの線束を遮蔽するような閉じた状態と 前記放射ビームの外側にそれぞれのリーフを移動して前記線束の障害されな い通路を作る開いた状態 の間で前記リーフを案内するための支持構造体、 前記開いた状態と前記閉じた状態の間でそれぞれのリーフを独立的に移動させ るためのモチベーション手段、及び それぞれのリーフが閉じた状態になる時間間隔と、それぞれのリーフが開いた 状態になる時間間隔の間の比率を制御して、前記ビームのそれぞれの線束の平均 エネルギーフルエンスを制御するため前記モチベーション手段と連通するタイミ ング手段 とを含む請求項1記載の装置。 3.患者に向けられ平面内で拡散する扇形放射ビームを発生させるための照射線 源を有する放射療法装置において、 ターゲットと、 前記ターゲットに向けられた電子流を発生させるための電子発生装置であって 、前記電子は前記ターゲットに衝突して、1つの中心線束の周囲に拡散する複数 のビーム線束を発生させ、前記拡散する線束のフルエンスが不均一なフルエンス プロファイルを表わしてなる電子発生装置と、 前記電子線源と前記ターゲットの間に配置し、前記電子流を振動させ、前記電 子流を異なる位置で前記ターゲットに衝突させることにより、実質的に均一な平 均フルエンスプロファイルを有する放射ビームを発生させる電子偏向手段 とを含んでなる照射線源。 4.前記電子偏向手段は磁気的に前記電子流を振動させる湾曲磁石を含む請求項 3記載の装置。 5.前記ターゲットがタングステンである請求項3記載の治療装置。 6.前記磁気振動が前記扇形ビームの平面に沿って行われる請求項3記載の治療 装置。
