Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.プリズム光案内照明器具は、選択した断面形状を形成する不透 明(102)と光出射(88)面部分とからなり、前記不透明面部分は光反射特 性を持ち、前記光案内照明器具は、 (a)前記光反射面部分が、前記材料の受容角範囲内の角度で前記材料 に入射する光を閉じ込めるプリズム光案内材(100)からなり、 (b)光散乱領域(92、94)が、前記受容角範囲外の角度に光を転 向する光散乱手段を含み、前記領域は規定の形状と位置を占め、 前記断面形状、前記光反射特性、前記光散乱領域の形状と位置が、 (i)前記散乱領域から前記光出射部分へ直接入らず、前記光出射 面部分を通して逃げる前記光散乱領域により転向した光は、前記材料により効率 的に前記散乱領域へ直接戻り反射をし、 (ii)前記散乱領域から前記光出射面部分へ直接入る光のすべて の光路は、2π未満の立体角を形成する、 ように選択されることを特徴とするプリズム光案内照明器具。 2.請求項1に記載のプリズム光案内照明器具において、 (a)前記断面形状は略楕円であり、 (b)前記光散乱領域形状は、それぞれ前記光出射面部分の長さに略等 しい長さを持つ2つの細長いストリップを含み、 (c)前記ストリップは、それぞれ前記略楕円断面形状の焦点位置にあ るラインの中心に位置しており、 (d)前記材料は、平坦面と直角二等辺プリズム面を持ち、前記材料は 、前記平坦面が内側を向いて、前記プリズムが外側を向いて配置されており、 (e)前記略楕円断面形状の短軸に対する長軸の比は、前記光散乱領域 ストリップのいずれかにより、前記光出射面部分へ散乱した光は、それらの点で 前記平坦面に略垂直な一方方向へ前記材料を通して前記光が反射する角度で前記 光出射面部分へ入射する、 プリズム光案内照明器具。 3.請求項1に記載のプリズム光案内照明器具において、 (a)前記断面形状は略半楕円であり、 (b)前記光散乱領域形状は、それぞれ前記光出射面部分の長さに略等 しい長さを持つ2つの細長いストリップを含み、 (c)前記ストリップは、前記半楕円形状の平坦部分に対して位置し、 それぞれ前記半楕円形状の焦点位置のライン上の中心に位置しており、 (d)前記材料は平坦面と二等辺プリズム面を持ち、前記材料は平坦面 が内側に向いて、前記プリズム面が外側を向いており、 (e)前記略半楕円形状の短軸に対する長軸の比は、前記光散乱領域ス トリップのいずれかにより、前記光出射面部分へ散乱した光は、それらの点で前 記平坦面に略垂直な一方方向へ前記材料を通して前記光が反射する角度で前記光 出射面部分へ入射する、 プリズム光案内照明器具。
