Here, in facsimile communication, the black and white tone difference on the surface of the communication paper is read, and this is replaced with a bit image to form a data string, which is modulated into an analog signal by a modem and then output to the telephone line.
In personal computer communication, a binary code handled by a computer is modulated into an analog signal by a modem and the analog signal is output to a telephone line. In these communications, the user can manually select voice communication and data communication on the transmission side, and the reception side can perform automatic reception depending on the type of signal. That is, if the receiving side receives a call signal, it outputs a standby signal for a certain period of time, if it receives a data communication identification signal during that time, it loads the signal that follows it, and switches to voice reception if the identification signal is not transmitted. It is a composition.

Since the above-mentioned communication is carried out through an analog telephone line which is generally used at present, if there is a switching device, the voice communication and the data communication can be carried out by one telephone line. Can be shared. However, there is a complete alternative relationship in that the time zone in which one is selected cannot select the other. Therefore, in the case of personal computer communication as an example, when transmitting data, both the transmitting side and the receiving side select the modem input / output, and when the transmission is completed, conversation is performed after returning to voice communication by switching the switch etc. A very tedious procedure to do is required.

By the way, nowadays, data communication using a telephone line has become widespread, and there are many opportunities to have a conversation while viewing a document transmitted by a facsimile or displaying data on a display by computer communication. . However, if these are attempted to proceed at the same time by the above-mentioned configuration, eventually two telephone lines must be used to dedicate one for voice communication and the other for data communication, which requires extra lines. Therefore, there is a cost problem. Also, since binary coded data can be sent over a telephone line, computer game data can of course be transmitted, but it is extremely useful if you can receive a simple instruction by voice during transmission. It is convenient, but currently there is no such means.

In the transmission block, the transmission voice and the transmission data are input in parallel, but the voice transmission determination unit determines whether or not the voice signal is input, and according to this state, transmits the voice or transmits the data. To judge. Here, since the input state of the voice determines the output state of the voice transmission determination device, the action as the voice priority type is performed. Further, the timer delays the transmission timing of the data transmission permission signal, and achieves the function of securing the opportunity of data transmission by extracting only the original free time.

The transmission block 1 is configured as a voice signal priority type, and while the line L is connected, data transmission is performed by utilizing the time zone during which the transmission side caller is not performing voice communication. Here, 11 is a voice transmission determining device for determining the presence or absence of the transmission voice S1, which sets a constant threshold value between the voice level, that is, the noise level and the voice level, that is, the signal level. If it is at a high level, it is judged that there is sound, and if it is at a low level, it is judged that there is no sound, and the control signal C1 for switching the circuit is given to the changeover switch 12.
Is output. Reference numeral 13 is a delay timer for controlling the output timing of the control signal C1 in the case of no voice.
Here, the timer 13 is necessary because when the transmission voice S1 is present, the switch 12 must be immediately switched to prevent the voice from being cut off, but on the other hand, a reliable transmission condition is secured for data transmission. Because it must be. In general, it is rare to speak continuously without interruption during transmission, and there are small breaks in the state of no voice even during transmission. However, if the voice transmission determination unit 11 makes a faithful determination of this, the switch 12 switches frequently. This causes a hindrance to the dialogue and makes it impossible to secure a sufficient condition for data transmission. Therefore, the switch of the switch 12 for data transmission is delayed by the timer 13 for a certain period of time, data transmission is performed only in the original idle time, and smooth transmission is performed by immediate switching for voice communication. is there.

Next, reference numeral 16 is a data transmission controller, which outputs a data permission signal C1 by outputting a transmission permission signal C2 after a predetermined time delay by a timer 13 when the voice transmission judging device 11 judges that the voice signal is in a non-voice state. And modulator 1
Modulate at 7. Further, the data transmission controller 16 performs identification / error control so that the data transmission can be automatically restored when the data transmission is interrupted by the intervention of voice. On the contrary, when the voice transmission determining unit 11 determines that there is voice, the transmission interruption signal C3 is immediately output to interrupt the data transmission. The data is temporarily stored in the buffer in the data transmission controller 16 or the previous block, and the stored data is released in response to the transmission permission signal C2 or the transmission interruption signal C3. Further, the modulated data is combined with the tone signal B generated by the tone generator 19 in the mixer 18, and output to the other terminal of the switch 12. Here, the tone signals A and B function as pilot signals for identifying whether the combined signal is transmission data D1 or transmission voice S1.

Subsequently, the receiving block 2 can be roughly divided into blocks of a signal identifying means 21 and a signal extracting means 22. First, in the signal identifying means 21, 23a
Reference numeral 23b is a bandpass filter whose center frequency is the frequency corresponding to the tone signal A and the tone signal B, and the signal received through the telephone line L is input to the comparator 24 through both bandpass filters. The comparator 24 compares which of the signals from the both band filters 23a and 23b has a higher level, determines that the higher level is the tone signal of the signal currently being received, and determines that this is the tone signal of the subsequent stage. The data / voice switch 25 is instructed. That is, the bandpass filter 23a
When the output level is higher, it is considered that the signal (voice signal) in which the tone signal A is combined is received, and when the output level of the bandpass filter 23b is higher, the signal in which the tone signal B is combined (data signal). The control signal is output to the data / voice switching unit 25 as if it is receiving.

On the other hand, the received signal is connected to the midpoint of the two-contact receiving switch 26 located at the frontmost stage of the signal extracting means 22, and the tone B removing filter 27b, from the a contact.
The received data D2 is restored through a data restoration circuit including a demodulator 28 and a data reception controller 29, and is input to a computer or the like. Further, the received voice S2 is restored from the contact point b via the tone A removal filter 27a and output to the telephone set 4 connected to the subsequent stage. A pseudo noise generator 31 is connected to the other contact of the switch 30 provided between the tone A removal filter 27a and the telephone in order to avoid silence due to no voice during data reception. I try to give a natural noise to it. The tone A removal filter 27a, the switch 30 and the pseudo noise generator 31 constitute a voice restoration circuit. The receiving switch 26 and the switch 30
Is controlled by the control signal C4 of the data / voice switch 25. Further, the data reception controller 29 is also controlled by the similar control signal C4. Similar to the data transmission controller 16, this is to perform identification / error control so that data transmission can be automatically recovered when interrupted by voice intervention. Therefore, the received data can be completely restored with error-free contents.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is judged by the voice transmission judging device whether or not the talker is currently making a voice, and if there is a voice, this voice signal is outputted to the telephone line. At the same time, the data transmission is blocked, and when there is no voice, the data transmission controller is driven after a certain time delay to transmit the data, so it is possible to efficiently transmit the data during the idle time of the voice. It was Therefore, it is possible to apparently transmit voice and data at the same time by using only one telephone line, and it is possible to prevent waste of time during connection of the line. Further, since the data is transmitted between the voices, even when providing a service such as downloading a game program from the host device to the terminal device, it is possible to transmit the data while giving voice instructions on how to play and instructions. Yes, it is very efficient.

1. A simultaneous data / voice transmission device comprising a transmission block and a reception block, wherein a voice signal and a data signal are input in parallel in the transmission block, and at the same time when there is a voice input, a transmission interruption signal is sent to a data transmission controller. On the other hand, when the voice input is cut off, a voice transmission judging device for transmitting a transmission permission signal of the data signal is provided after a delay of a certain time by a timer, and by controlling the voice transmission judging device, the two signals with different frequencies are transmitted. After combining the tone signals, the signals are selectively output to the telephone line, and in the reception block, the reception signals are input to the comparator through the two band filters corresponding to the respective tone signals, and the reception signals are received. After identification, it is input to the data / voice controller, while the received signal is recovered by the control signal of the data / voice switcher. Or data and audio simultaneous transmission apparatus characterized by selectively connecting to the data recovery circuit.
