Abstract

PURPOSE: To utilize waste materials and obtain a sound-absorption material which is inexpensive, light, and excellent in the sound-absorptive property, by unifying pulverized tile particles having a specified size distribution by an inorganic binder composed of glass powder, slaked lime, water glass, etc. CONSTITUTION: Pulverized tile particles 11 of 0.425-1.7mm in size and an inorganic binder 12 composed of glass powder, slaked lime, water glass, etc., are combined at the ratio of 60-70wt.% to 40-30wt.% to get a sound-absorption board 10 having 1.3 or more and less than 1.4 in bulk density. In this case, when the size distribution of the pulverized tile particles ranges 0.425-1.7mm, the sound-absorptivity is best and when the bulk density of the sound-absorption material 10 ranges 1.3 or more and less than 1.4, the sound-absorptivity is best as well. Since the pulverized tile particles are chief constituents of the sound- absorption material. Industrial wastes composed of defective parts on producing tile products can be utilized by pulverizing. And the sound-absorption material can be inexpensively produced.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a plate-shaped ceramic sound absorbing material has been used as a soundproof wall provided on a shoulder of a road or a side of a railroad track. This ceramic sound absorbing material has an advantage that it is superior in sound absorbing property and durability as compared with the sound absorbing material made of glass wool. However, the conventional ceramic sound absorbing material has a problem that it is more expensive than the sound absorbing material made of glass wool, because it is made by firing porcelain for ceramic sound absorbing material into particles and binding it with an inorganic binder. Moreover, the bulk specific gravity is as heavy as 1.4 or more, and further, the sound absorption recovery property by washing when it is clogged with dust or the like cannot be said to be sufficient, so that improvement has been demanded.

Further, when the sound absorbing property of the sound absorbing material mainly composed of the crushed tile particles was examined, the particle size of the crushed tile particles was 0.425 to 1.7 mm.
In the case of, it was found that the sound absorbing property was the best. Moreover, it was also found that the sound absorbing property was the best when the bulk specific gravity of the sound absorbing material was 1.3 or more and less than 1.4. In addition, when the bulk specific gravity of the sound absorbing material is less than 1.4, the bulk specific gravity becomes smaller than that of the conventional sound absorbing material, so that the sound absorbing material can be made lighter.

The sound absorbing material 10 is molded by mixing 60 to 70% by weight of the crushed tile particles and 40 to 30% by weight of an inorganic binder, filling the mold, molding at a predetermined pressure, and firing at a predetermined temperature. It is done by doing. By setting the pressure during firing to 9 to 11 kgf / cm 2 , the bulk specific gravity of the sound absorbing material can be 1.3 or more and less than 1.4. The firing is performed at about 1000 to 1200 ° C for several tens of minutes. As a result, the inorganic binder is melted on the surfaces of the tile crushed product particles, and the tile crushed product particles are bonded to each other.

Further, a sound absorbing property recovery test by washing was carried out as follows for the sound absorbing materials of Examples and Conventional Examples whose sound absorption coefficient was measured. That is, the sound absorbing material after the sound absorbing coefficient measurement was immersed in sludge water for one day and then taken out from the sludge water, left at room temperature and washed with a shower, and after drying, an air layer was provided behind the sound absorbing material to measure the sound absorbing coefficient. . The sludge water is 50% by weight of clay, 40% by weight of silica sand, and 10% of carbon.
The weight% used was diluted with three times their amount of water. Table 4 shows the measurement results of the sound absorption coefficient. In Table 4, “before” or “after” means the measurement result before immersion in sludge and the measurement result after washing and drying, and the measurement value of “before” is the same value as in Table 3.

As shown and described above, in the sound absorbing material of the present invention, defective tiles or damaged tiles, which are industrial wastes, can be used. Has the effect of contributing to resources. Furthermore, the particle size of the tile crushed product particles is 0.425 to 1.7 mm, and 60 to 70% by weight of the tile crushed product particles having the particle size is combined by an inorganic binder of 40 to 30% by weight to obtain a bulk specific gravity of 1.3.
Since it is less than 1.4, it is lighter and easier to handle than conventional products, has good sound absorption, and has the effect of being able to recover sufficient sound absorption by washing when it becomes clogged due to long-term use.
