Therefore, as a result of various studies on the effective use of the attic space in such a case, the present inventor has focused on the dorma that has been conventionally used for the attic ventilation, the lighting of the living room below, and the like. Notice that it can be used as a living room by forming a relatively large space under the sloping roof by using a steel frame instead of the wooden frame used in front of the conventional dormer. By doing so, we have completed a dome that has excellent strength and can be made larger.

The dormer includes a steel frame body composed of a pair of strut members and diagonal members arranged diagonally and in a mountain shape at the upper ends of the strut members.
As a result, the rigidity and strength of the dome frame is increased as compared with a conventional dome using a wooden frame, and the frame is fixed to the steel purlin at the lower end of the strut member via the lower stock,
Furthermore, the strength and rigidity of the dome frame can be increased, and the dome frame can be made large enough to form a living room or the like in the attic.

A pair of strut members and a steel frame body composed of diagonal members arranged diagonally and in a mountain shape at the upper end of the strut members, and the rigidity of the dome frame structure as compared with a conventional wooden frame member, Strength increases. In addition, since the lower end of the pillar material is fixed to the steel purlin through the lower rootstock, the frame body further increases the strength and rigidity of the skeleton structure of the dormer, and can form a living room or the like below the dormer. Can be upsized. Furthermore, on the front surface of the dormer, there is a wooden diagonal member aligned with the diagonal member of the frame and molded,
Since a wooden side frame that is easy to process is provided, by changing the width of this side frame, it becomes possible to set the width of the front of the dorma relatively easily and freely. The flexibility of the design plan can be increased.
