題を生じる。一方,ごく短時間の過回転ではエンジンや
アクチユエータに耐久性を劣化させるほどの悪影響はな
く,またそのまま放置しても最高値以下に短時間で回転
低下しガバナ装置を働かせる必要はない。

問題点を解決するための手段 本発明は,過回転判定レベルを或う回転速度に設定す

設定し,エンジンの回転速度が過回転判定レベルを超え
たときその回転速度差に応じた過回転許容時間以上過回
転が続いた場合に回転低下手段を働かせる構成としたこ
とにより前記問題点を解決するための手段とした。

発明の効果 本発明によると,エンジンが過回転となつたとき,こ
の大きさに応じて設定した許容時間内に回転速度が低下
したときは回転低下手段を働かせないので,ごく短時間
の過回転を発生してもその都度回転速度を強制的に低下
させ却つて不安定にするという不都合がなくなるのであ
る。また,許容時間を超えて過回転が続くときに回転低
下手段が働くので,エンジンやその周辺機器の不調,故
障による過回転に対して従来通りの安全を計ることがで
きるものである。

種センサからの電気信号が電子式の制御装置3に入力さ
れ,また点火コイル4,燃料噴射弁5,絞り弁アクチユエー
タ6およびその他のエンジン制御のためのアクチユエー
タに制御装置3から駆動信号が出力されるようになつて
いる。

開き,これによつてエンジンおよびその周辺への電力供
給を全て遮断する。このため点火コイル4と燃料噴射弁
5とが停止してエンジンは回転速度を低下し,過回転判
定レベルよりも低回転となつたとき運転を再開するかま
たは停止に至らせる。従つて,この実施例では点火コイ
ル4,燃料噴射弁5への通電停止が回転低下手段となる。

転低下手段を働かせ,曲線Bのように回転速度NをN0
下に低下させる。従つて,前記の或る所定値に達しない
うちに回転速度Nが曲線CのようにN0以下に低下したと
きは回転低下手段は働かない。或いは,回転速度差△N
に対する過回転許容時間Tのマップを第3図のように作
成しておき,例えば第2図曲線Aのように回転速度Nが
変化したとき時刻回転速度差△N1,△N2に対応するT0
らの経過時間t1,t2をマツプ上のT1,T2と比較し T0からの経過時間t1,t2をマップ上の回転速度差△N1,
△N2に対応する過回転許容時間T1,T2と比較し,△N1
