It conducts to one extraction electrode 3b of the L element 3. At the same time, electric power is conducted to the contact piece 11 by the contacts 11a and 11b, and then to the other extraction electrode 3a of the EL element 3. This makes EL
Electric power is supplied to the element 3. The EL element 3 emits light when electric power is supplied. The fluorescent plates 6 and 5 emit the light emitted from the EL element 3,
A part of this light is taken in through the through hole portion 2 of the needle main body, and a part of the area facing the through hole portion 2 on the upper surface of the needle emits light. The emission color of the needle upper surface is a mixed color of the emission color of the EL element 3, the color of the fluorescent dye contained in the fluorescent plate 5 and the color of the fluorescent dye contained in the fluorescent plate 6.

A resin having such characteristics is generally called a light collecting resin. Further, the fluorescent plate 5 internally condenses the remaining light emitted from the needle upper surface,
The condensed light thus condensed causes the end face of the needle to emit light due to the color of the fluorescent dye contained therein. The fluorescent plates 5 and 6 emit light of two different colors in two layers.
