In the figure, 1 is a case having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped flat shape and an opening 1a is formed on the bottom surface, 2 is a light emitting portion including a light emitting diode or the like for irradiating light to the information medium 4 through the opening 1a, 3 Is the information light including the image information reflected on the information medium 4 by the light emitted from the light emitting portion 2 to the information medium 4, and again reflects the information light entering the case 1 through the opening 1a toward the image sensor 5. The mirrors 6a and 6b are arranged one pair behind the opening 1a and in the vicinity of the image sensor 5 so as to be spaced apart from each other, and a roller slightly protruding from the bottom surface of the case 1 so as to come into contact with the information medium 10; A dustproof cover made of a transparent acrylic resin attached to the opening 1a of the lens, 8 is a lens for focusing the information light on the image sensor 5, 9 is a cylindrical lens holder in which the lens is installed,
Reference numeral 10 denotes an Ω-shaped fixing member that fixes the lens holder 9 to the case 1, 11 denotes a sensor holder having a shape covering the image sensor 5, and having an opening 11a in front of the image sensor 5, 12 denotes the image sensor 5. A board 13 to be attached is a screw for fixing the board 12 and the sensor holder 11 to the case 1. Further, the opening 11 of the lens holder 9 and the sensor holder 11
A slight gap is provided between the a and the a to facilitate the assembly work and the focus adjustment of the lens.

In the image information input device for reading, the holder is integrally formed with a diaphragm section for blocking unnecessary light between the lens and the image sensor, and an inclination angle inclined from the lens side is provided at an end of the diaphragm section. An image information input device characterized by the above.

In the figure, the same components as those in FIGS. 3 and 4 are designated by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted. In FIGS. 1 and 2, reference numeral 11b denotes a protruding portion (throttle portion) which protrudes inward of the opening 11a of the sensor holder 11 and is formed integrally with the sensor holder 11. Here, the opening 11
The diameter dimension A of a is formed to be smaller than the diameter dimension B of the lens holder 9, which allows disturbance light to enter the gap between the lens holder 9 and the sensor holder 11 during scanning of the image information input device. Even in this case, the projecting portion 11b prevents the disturbance light from being blocked and adversely affects the image sensor 5, and the problem that the edge portion of the image becomes white is solved, and accurate reading can be performed. Also, the protrusion
An inclination angle θ that is inclined from the lens side is provided at the end of 11b. This is to allow the information light passing through the lens to have a large area read by the image sensor 5. Is provided so as to be determined by the image of the lens holder 9 or the like.

Even if ambient light enters the gap between 11, the ambient light is blocked by the protrusion 11b and does not adversely affect the image sensor 5. Therefore, the problem that the edge of the image becomes white is solved and accurate reading is performed. In addition, the inclination angle inclined from the lens side provided at the end of the diaphragm section brings about an effect that the reading area of the image sensor 5 can be made large.
