Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a pure gold stock improved in hardness by subjecting a pure gold stock contg. a specified amt. of Ca to isothermal treatment in the specified temp. range. SOLUTION: A pure gold stock contg., by weight, 0.05 to 0.2% Ca is prepd. in a vacuum melting machine to cast an ingot. This ingot is subjected to working treatment and is thereafter subjected to isothermal treatment in the temp. range of 150 to 350 deg.C (e.g. at 250 deg.C for about 24hr). Thus, the hardness of the worked product can be improved than that of the conventional one.

化して初めて装飾品としての強度が得られることから、

にて、表層面の硬度を得ている。また、硬化純金素材の
加工硬化後の硬度もより以上のものが望まれている。

【発明の効果】以上説明した如く,本発明に係る純金素
材の時効硬化方法は、鋳造や通常のロー付けが必要な装
飾品に於ても必要な硬度が得られることから、様々な純
金製装飾品に活用できる非常に優れた考案である。ま
た、硬化純金の加工硬化品についても、より硬度を上げ
ることが出来る為、本来軟らかいという純金のイメージ
を打ち破るものである。
