However, the appearance after coating is greatly affected by the appearance of the surface of the base plating, and therefore, it is necessary to improve the brightness of the plating surface before coating in order to satisfy the sharpness of the appearance after coating.

The lightness index in Hunter's dye formula of the IS Z8730 color difference display method was used. FIG. 1 is a chart showing the relationship between the Tl concentration in the plating bath and the L value of the plating surface. From FIG. 1, as the Tl concentration in the plating bath increases, the obtained L surface value of the plated steel sheet also increases, but the L value does not change when the Tl concentration is around 10 ppm. Therefore, the Tl concentration should be 0.01-10ppm
By doing so, a galvanized steel sheet having excellent brightness can be efficiently obtained.

From FIG. 2, when the L value is less than 70, the underlying plating color is transmitted and can be clearly seen in the appearance after coating. Therefore, in order to obtain an excellent appearance after coating, the L value of the plating surface must be 70 or more.

方法について説明する。Next, a method of supplying Tl will be described. A method of directly adding a chemical such as thallium sulfate or thallium acetate to the plating bath is generally used, but this method takes time and adjustment of the bath concentration is difficult. Therefore, a Tl supply method using a Pb-Tl system electrode that can solve these problems will be described.

The results using the electrodes will be described. The Tl content in the electrode was changed every 2 wt% from 0 to 14 wt% and the Tl concentration in the bath was measured after electroplating for 20 days. However, the Tl concentration in the bath saturates around 10 days after the electrode was used.

It is a chart showing the relationship with 1 concentration. From FIG. 3, the Tl content in the electrode increased, and the Tl concentration was 10% at around 10 wt%.
Since it reaches ppm, it is necessary to set the Tl content in the electrode to 10 wt% or less in order to satisfy the Tl concentration in the bath of the present invention. However, the Tl content in the electrode is 0.1 wt%
If it is less than the range, there is a possibility of insufficient supply of Tl in the bath.

Therefore, by using the Pb-Tl system electrode, it is possible to add Tl and adjust the Tl concentration without introducing a drug.

By electrogalvanizing a steel sheet with a current density of A / dm 2, an electrogalvanized steel sheet having an L value of 70 or more on the plated surface can be manufactured. Furthermore, as a method for adding Tl in the galvanizing bath, a Pb-based anode containing 0.1 to 10 wt% of Tl in a Pb alloy is used, and Tl is supplied together with the melting of the electrode, so that the chemical agent is introduced. It is possible to add Tl and adjust the Tl concentration without doing so.
