【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、樹脂成形品に樹脂フィ
ルムや金属の薄板等のシート状取付部材を取付け接合す
る接合構造に関する。

【従来の技術】従来、樹脂成形品へ他の部材を取付ける
手段として、成形品に設けたボス部を他部品の穴に嵌合
し、ボス部を摩擦溶着してかしめて接合する方法がある
(たとえば、実公平5−18131号)。しかし、この
方法では、接合部において取付部材がタイトに成形品に
固着されるので、両者の材質が異なる場合、それらの線
膨張係数の差が大きいと周囲の温度変化に応じてその接
合部材は加熱、冷却を繰返すこととなり、変形・ひずみ
が発生する。また、実公平3−53866号に開示され
ているように取付部材の取付部を略I形状としてこれに
成形品のリブを挿入してこのリブを溶着してかしめる方
法もある。この方法では接合部材の膨張、収縮時線膨張
係数の差により取付部材にかかる応力は、部分的には緩
和されるが、それはI形状であるために方向性に制限が
あり、変形、ひずみの防止には不十分である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】このように従来の接合
構造では、樹脂成形品に対してとくにシート状部材を取
付けた場合に変形・ひずみ、場合によってはしわが発生
するおそれが大きく、ことに高温度から低温度の差の大
きい自動車等車輌用接合構造においては問題となる。こ
うした問題の解決法として、両者の取付部をルースとす
ることも考えられるが、そうした場合にはシート状取付
部材が剥がれやすくなるので有効な手段ではない。そこ
で、本発明は、周囲の温度変化によるシート状取付部材
の膨張、収縮を緩和してその変形・ひずみを防止するこ
とができ、しかも同時に固着強度が大きく剥がれにくい
樹脂成形品との接合構造を提供することを目的とするも
のである。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明者は、鋭意検討し
た結果、成形品の各取付部を複数のかしめ軸から構成
し、これに取付けるシート状取付部材には対応する複数
の取付穴を設け、これらの穴の間の部位にてかしめ軸を
かしめて融着させることにより前記課題を解決し得るこ
とを見出し、本発明に至った。すなわち、本発明は、か
しめ軸を突設した樹脂成形品とかしめ軸に対応する位置
に取付穴を有するシート状取付部材とを、取付穴をかし
め軸に貫入させかしめ軸をかしめることにより取付ける
接合構造であって、各取付部毎に前記かしめ軸を複数か
ら構成し、また前記取付穴を対応する複数から構成し、
かつかしめ軸径よりも穴径を大きく設定して各取付穴間
の部位にて各かしめ軸を相互に融着して両者を固着する
ことを特徴とする接合構造に関するものである。
【0005】本願発明の接合構造においては、シート状
取付部材は、その取付穴に挾まれた部位、すなわち取付
穴の間の部位にて複数のかしめ軸相互の融着により樹脂
成形品に固着され、その他の取付穴の周辺部の多くはフ
リーの状態とすることが重要である。なお、かしめ軸
は、2本あるいは3本、場合によってはそれ以上とする
ことができる。こうした接合構造することによりシート
状取付部材と樹脂成形品との線膨張係数の相違に基づ
き、シート状部材が温度変化により収縮、膨張してもそ
れによる応力を取付穴周辺の樹脂成形品とは固着されて
いないフリー部分により緩和することができる。そのた
め、本発明の接合構造は、温度変化の激しい自動車等の
車輌用の部品、例えばクラスタ内の照明パネル、キーレ
スエントリー用の受信アンテナパターンを印刷したフィ
ルムの取付に好適であり、あるいは金属の薄板等からな
る銘板等の樹脂成形品への固着にも応用することができ
る。従来の接合構造ではアンテナパターン印刷フィルム
のように肉厚の薄い樹脂フィルムの場合には熱容量の差
もあって温度変化による収縮、膨張により取付けられた
フィルムに反りが生じることがあり、この場合アンテナ
パターンと車体(金属)との距離が変化することとなり
受信特性に悪影響を及ぼすが、本発明の接合構造によれ
ばこのような薄いフィルムを取付けた場合であっても、
フィルムの反り、変形をすることが防止できる。しか
も、本発明の接合構造は、樹脂成形品とシート状取付部
材との固着部分は、取付穴の間の部位においてかしめ軸
相互を融着させて両者を固着一体化するので強固に確実
に取付けることができるので、剥離の心配はない。本発
明における樹脂成形品の材質は、とくに制限はなく、熱
可塑性樹脂でも、また熱硬化性樹脂でも使用することが
できる。また樹脂成形品に取付けるべきシート状取付部
材の材質にもとくに制限はなく、一般の合成樹脂、ある
いは金属の薄体などがある。

【実施例】以下に図面に基づき本発明の実施例を説明す
る。図1は、本発明の樹脂成形品とシート状取付部材と
の接合構造を有するクラスターの斜視図である。クラス
ターの材質は一般的な熱可塑性樹脂であるポリプロピレ
ン、ポリカーボネート、ABS、ポリカーボネート−A
BS、ポリカーボネート−AESなどが使用される。ク
ラスターには通常開口部(2)があり、ここにフィルム
(3)等を設け、裏面側より光を当てて、照明パネルと
したものがある。このフィルム(3)は一般的な熱可塑
性樹脂であるポリエステル、アクリル、ポリカーボネー
ト等が用いられる。このフィルムとクラスター本体と
は、熱かしめ、超音波溶着、回転摩擦溶着等各種の方法
によりかしめ部(4)により固着されている。

線)説明図である。図3は本発明の一実施例を示すかし
め部の説明図であり、図3に示すようにかしめ軸(8)
に、フィルムの取付穴5が挿入される。このときかしめ
軸径D(7)とフィルム取付穴径d(6)の関係はD<
dとなっている。次いでかしめ軸(8)はかしめ冶具
(9)によりかしめられる。図4(a)は、かしめ軸に
対応する位置にあるかしめ冶具の一例を示す説明図であ
り、図4(b)はかしめ軸がかしめられてかしめ部4を
形成した状態を示す説明図である。かしめ冶具の先端部
は中央部にかしめ融着部(10)、その周辺部にかしめ
環状堰(11)を有している。このときかしめ容積X
(12)とかしめ軸体積Y(13)の関係はX≧Yとす
るのが好ましい。この関係を満たすことによりかしめ軸
部の溶融した樹脂がフィルムに形成した穴と軸との空隙

に、かしめ台座間にフィルム支持部(15)を構成し、
平面図ではダンベル形としてフィルムが下へ落ちないよ
うにすることが好ましい。

を融着固定し、他のフィルム取付穴の周縁は成形品に固

【発明の効果】以上説明したように、本発明の接合構造
によれば、温度変化によって、樹脂成形品やそれに取付
けられたシート状取付部材が膨張、収縮してもそれによ
る応力を十分に緩和することができるので、シート状取
付部材や樹脂成形品が反りなど変形するのを防止するこ
とができる。しかも、同時に本発明の接合構造は、その
固着部位においては複数本のかしめ軸により取付部と被
取付部とが一体化されるので、固着強度を向上すること
ができる。さらに細い複数本のかしめ軸とすることによ
り樹脂成形品の表面のヒケを防止することもできる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 かしめ軸を突設した樹脂成形品とかしめ
    軸に対応する位置に取付穴を有するシート状取付部材と
    を、取付穴をかしめ軸に貫入させかしめ軸をかしめるこ
    とにより取付ける接合構造であって、各取付部毎に前記
    かしめ軸を複数から構成し、また前記取付穴を対応する
    複数から構成し、かつかしめ軸径よりも穴径を大きく設
    定して各取付穴間の部位にて各かしめ軸を相互に融着し
    て両者を固着することを特徴とする接合構造。
