Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use seat plates as the structural binding materials of left and right side plates and to attain structurally strong connection by fitting and fixing the left and right end parts of the seat plates to the seat plate fitting recessed parts of the left and right side plates provided with leg parts. SOLUTION: This bench 10 is composed of the left and right side plates 11 and the plural seat plates 12 and back plates 13 to be set across the side plates 11. The side plate 11 is provided with the two front and back leg parts 14 and 15 and an armrest part 16 and is provided with the seat plate fitting recessed parts 17 and back plate fitting recessed parts 18 on the inner surface side. In this case, since the left and right end parts of the seat plates 12 are fitted and fixed to the seat plate fitting recessed parts 17 of the left and right side plates 11 provided with the leg parts 14 and 15 or further, the left and right ends of the back plates 13 are fitted and fixed to the back plate fitting recessed parts 18 of the left and right side plates 11, the seat plates 12 or the back plates 13 are used for the structural connection materials of the left and right side plates 11. Thus, the left and right side plates 11 are structurally strongly connected by the seat plates 12 or the back plates 13 with a simple structure.

However, the prior art has the following problems. The seat plate and back plate are the seat plate support part and the back plate support part of the left and right legs
It is only fixed with screws, and the seat plate and back plate cannot serve as a structural connecting material for the left and right legs. Therefore, it is necessary to sufficiently secure a structure for structurally firmly connecting the left and right legs in a portion other than the mounting structure of the seat plate and the back plate, which complicates the structure.

According to the present invention described in claim 4, the following operational effects are obtained. The left and right side plates are rotationally molded resin bodies, and the side plate outer surface forming portion of the resin body and the fitting recess end surface forming portion on the side plate inner surface side are joined and integrated with each other. Therefore, the side plate is different from a simple shell-shaped rotational molding resin body, and the fitting recess forming portion is like a reinforcing rib connecting the inside and outside of the resin body. As a result, it is possible to provide the side plate with resin while having strength and rigidity capable of withstanding a bench load. In addition, since the side plate is made of resin, it is not necessary to perform a rust preventive treatment, and the cost can be reduced.
