Conventionally, in this type of dehumidifying / drying device,
Circulating air that blows dry air after the humid air in the room that has been sucked in through the suction port passes through the rotary dehumidifying element provided in the case body to cause the moisture to be adsorbed into the room through the air outlet. In addition to the forced circulation mechanism, the high temperature air is sent to the rotary dehumidifying element to which moisture is adsorbed, so that the rotary dehumidifying element desorbs water and regenerates the rotary dehumidifying element. Some have a configuration as described above.

However, in the dehumidifying / drying device having the above-mentioned conventional structure, the forced circulation mechanism for the circulating air for sucking in the humid air in the room and blowing out the dried air after dehumidification, and the regenerating unit for regeneration. Since the air-blowing function that takes in and exhausts air is performed by separate air-blowing mechanisms, two dedicated air-blowing machines are required, the air-blowing system becomes complicated, and the overall size of the device only increases. Not only will it cost more.

Moreover, if the regenerating air is directly taken in from the outside of the room, the temperature and humidity of the outdoor air change greatly, it is difficult to control the heating by an electric heater, the capacity of the heater needs to be increased, and the drying efficiency decreases. Further, since the outdoor air is often contaminated, the rotary dehumidifying element is heavily contaminated, which adversely affects dehumidifying / drying performance and durability.

Moreover, the inside of the case body is divided into at least a primary zone communicating with the suction port, a tertiary zone communicating with the air outlet, and a secondary zone adjacent to the tertiary zone and the primary zone. An air blower consisting of a blower circulates the room air in the case body from the suction port in order through the primary zone, secondary zone and tertiary zone to the outlet, and this blower passes through the secondary zone to the tertiary zone. Since the air flow path is formed so that the moisture in the air that reaches the air is brought into contact with the cylindrical rotary type dehumidifying element to be adsorbed, the simplification of the air blowing system as a whole,
The size of the device can be reduced.

Moreover, the inside of the case body is divided into at least a primary zone communicating with the suction port, a tertiary zone communicating with the air outlet, and a secondary zone adjoining the tertiary zone and the primary zone.

Further, since the drying / heating switching means for introducing the air after being regenerated by the regenerating means into the tertiary zone and exhausting it from the air outlet is provided, it is possible to easily heat the room by switching to the heating means. As a result, it is possible to improve the drying efficiency during the dry operation, while maintaining the comfort of heating the bathroom during the winter bathing.
