Abstract
性の触媒組成物を見出し、この支援により出来るだけ経
済的な方法で製造される高分子量でかつ分子量分布の狭
いポリアルケン−1。 【解決手段】 遷移金属のビスシクロペンタジエニル錯
体およびアルモオキサン化合物からなる触媒を用いて、
0.1〜3000バールおよび−20〜300℃の条件
で重合して製造されたC2 −乃至C10−アルケン−1重
合体であって、該触媒として a)一般式I: 【化1】 で表されるメタロセン錯体、 b)並びに、一般式IIもしくはIII: 【化2】 で表される開放鎖の、または環状のアルモオキサン化合
物を活性成分として含有する触媒組成物を用いたことを
特徴とするC2 −乃至C10−アルケン−1重合体。
Description
ー・ナッタ触媒の他に可溶性の触媒もまた使用すること
もできる。後者においては化合物中にアルミニウム化合
物オリゴマーで組み込まれた有機配位子を伴う周期律表
IVおよびV副族の金属による錯化合物に関することで
ある(欧州特許出願公開第185918号公報、欧州特
許出願公開第283739号公報および英国特許出願公
開第2207136号公報)。この触媒組成物に使用さ
れる錯化合物として、大抵、遷移金属とπ−結合を受け
入れるシクロペンタジエニル基を有機配位子として有す
る。また触媒として有機配位子の他に金属原子に結合し
たハロゲンを示す遷移金属錯体がしばしば使用される。

媒組成物が記述されており、そこでは錯化合物として周
期律表IVおよびV副族の金属によるビス(シクロペン
タジエニル)錯体が使用され、そこでは両方のシクロペ
ンタジエニル環がアルキル置換された珪素、錫またはゲ
ルマニウム原子または硫黄原子によって結合される。そ
のときまた遷移金属錯体が組み込まれることができ、そ
こでペンタジエニル環がアルキル基によって置換され、
さらに配位子として遷移金属を結合した2個のハロゲン
を有する。そこでアルミニウム化合物オリゴマーとして
特に後述の一般式IIまたはIIIの鎖状または環状の
アルモオキサン化合物が使用される。

ことになる。

とを特徴とするC2 −乃至C10−アルケン−1重合体で

るシクロペンタジエニル基の2つの炭素原子は一緒に数

れは特に欧州特許出願公開第284708号公報および
米国特許第4794096号に記載されている。

存在し、従ってmは平均値として見られる。アルモオキ
サン化合物はこの他にアルキル基が1乃至8の炭素原子
を示し、例えばトリメチル−、トリエチル−またはメチ
ルジエチルアルミニウムのようなトリアルキルアルミニ
ウム化合物を含むことができる。
1の重合において、メタロセン錯体a)とアルモオキサ
ン化合物b)が、アルモオキサン化合物b)のアルミニ
ウムとメタロセン錯体a)の遷移金属との間の原子比で
10:1乃至106 :1の範囲、特に10:1乃至10
4 :1の範囲にあるような量で使用されることが有利で
ある。この場合2つの触媒成分は任意の順序で単独に、
或は混合物として重合反応器の中に装入されることがで
きる。とくに活性な可溶性触媒組成物はメタロセン錯体
a)とアルモオキサン化合物b)を重合前5乃至60
分、特に10乃至40分互いに混合して得ることができ
る。このような方法で活性化された触媒は引き続いてす
ぐに使用できる。
ン−1の重合体は製造される。これによりC2 −乃至C
10−アルケン−1のホモ−および共重合体は、単量体と
して好ましくはエチレン、プロピレン、ブテン−1、ペ
ンテン−1およびヘキセン−1が使用されることが理解
される。本発明で用いる触媒組成物は、特にポリプロピ
レン、およびプロピレンと従属する部分、他のC2 −乃
至C10−アルケン−1、特にエチレンおよびブテン−1
との共重合体の製造に適している。
造に使用した反応器を断続的にまたは好ましくは連続し
て実施することができる。適合した反応器は特に連続運
転の攪拌釜を、場合によりまた多数の連続操作攪拌釜の
列を使用することができる。重合反応は0.1乃至30
00バールの圧力、−20乃至300℃の温度で実施さ
れる。その場合、0.5乃至2500バールの圧力およ
び+10乃至+150℃の温度が好ましい。重合時間は
通常0.5乃至10時間の範囲内である。
援により気相で、液体の単量体でおよび不活性溶媒中で
実施される。その場合、重合は溶媒中、特にベンゾール
またはトルオールのような液体炭化水素中で適用される
のが好ましい。この場合、アルモオキサンとしてアルミ
ニウムが溶媒1リットル当たり10-4乃至10-1モル使
用されるのが有利である。
重合方法で、例えば水素を調節して供給することによ
り、或は反応温度を変化させることにより操作すること
ができる。
造された重合体は、分子量が高く、かつ分子量分布が狭
いことが注目される。それは比較的高温で製造され、そ
れにより反応時間は制限されることになる。これらの性
質に基づいて、本発明で用いる触媒組成物から得られた
重合体は特にフィルムおよび成型体の製造に適してい
る。
mlの乾燥したトルエンを入れ、次に30mlのトルエ
ン中に0.45gのメチルアルモオキサン(平均鎖長m
=20)を加えた溶液を混合した。そこで溶媒1リット
ル当たり7.6・10-3モルのアルミニウムが使用され
た。次に15mlのトルエン中に15mgのジメチルシ
ランジイルビス(−2−メチルインデニル)−ジルコニ
ウムジクロライド(31.2・10-6モルに相当)を加
えた溶液が添加され、アルミニウムとジルコニウムの原
子比が244:1になった。この混合物は、まず50℃
で30分間攪拌され、次にプロピレンが2バールの圧力
で加圧され、4時間40分間重合される。ここで重合は
50℃の温度で、2バールの圧力で行われる。その後未
反応のプロピレンが除去され、1リットルのメタノール
と10mlの濃塩酸の混合物が反応溶液に添加された。
得られた重合体は濾過分別され、メタノールで洗浄され
更に減圧下で乾燥された。
0、数平均分子量(MN )41500で、分子量分布
(MW /MN )が2.75であるポリプロピレン45g
が得られた。

加され、アルミニウムとジルコニウムの原子比が895
0:1になった。それから比較例1に記述した如く進行
した。

1.55であるポリプロピレン51.4gが得られた。

Claims (1)
- 【請求項1】 遷移金属のビスシクロペンタジエニル錯
体およびアルモオキサン化合物からなる触媒を用いて、
0.1〜3000バールおよび−20〜300℃の条件
で重合して製造されたC2 −乃至C10−アルケン−1重
合体であって、該触媒として a)一般式Iにおいて、 【化1】 式中、Mはチタン、ジルコニウム、ハフニウム、バナジ
ウム、ニオブ、タンタルの各原子を、Xはハロゲン原子
またはC1 −乃至C8 −アルキルを、Yは炭素、燐、硫
黄、珪素、またはゲルマニウムの各原子を、ZはC1 −
乃至C8 −アルキル、C3 −乃至C10−シクロアルキ
ル、C6 −乃至C10−アリールを、R1 、R2 はC1 −
乃至C4 −アルキルを(R1 とR2 は同じでも異なって
いても良く)、2個の隣接基R3 とR4 並びにR5 とR
6 はそれぞれ一緒になって10乃至15の炭素原子を有
する炭化水素環を示し、nが0、1または2を、それぞ
れ示すメタロセン錯体、 b)並びに、一般式IIもしくはIIIにおいて、 【化2】 式中、R7 はC1 〜C4 −アルキル基を示し、mが5乃
至30の数を示す開放鎖の、または環状のアルモオキサ
ン化合物を活性成分として含有する触媒組成物を用いた
ことを特徴とするC2 −乃至C10−アルケン−1重合
体。
