Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 電気性能を有し、間隔を隔てた少なくとも第一導電性スリーブ及び第二導 電性スリーブを備えた近位端を有する、小さい直径の細長い可撓性部材と一緒に 使用するための回転コネクタにおいて、ハウジングと及びハウジング内に取り付 けられ、間隔を隔てた少なくとも第一接触部材及び第二接触部材を備え、前記ハ ウジング及び前記第一接触部材及び第二接触部材は、その中に通路を有し、その 中を通って、細長い可撓性部材の近位端が、第一接触部材及び第二接触部材に接 触している第一スリップリング及び第二スリップリングの位置に延びることがで き、さらに、ハウジングによって支持され、ハウジング内の細長い可撓性部材の 近位端を保持し、ハウジングに対して細長い可撓性部材の回転を可能にする手段 を備え、前記各第一接触部材及び第二接触部材は、近位側及び遠位側を有するベ ース部分を有し、前記ベース部分は、その中に孔を備え、その中を通って、細長 い可撓性部材の近位端が延びることができ、ベース部材は、ベース部分の一方の 側で両方向に湾曲している第一の湾曲した側方に延びるバネ部分及び第二の湾曲 した側方に延びるバネ部分を有し、前記第一湾曲バネ部分及び第二湾曲バネ部分 は、ベース部分の孔とほぼ整列している線に沿って、互いに接触しており、導電 性スリーブの一つに摩擦係合するようになっている、回転コネクタ。 2. 前記各湾曲部分には側縁が形成され、溝が、側縁の間に、孔と整列して配 置され、接触部材内の細長い可撓性部材の近位端の心出しを補助する、請求の範 囲1に記載のコネクタ。 3. ハウジングによって支持され、ハウジング内の細長い可撓性部材の前記近 位端を保持するための前記手段は、つかみ位置と解放位置の間を移動可能で、自 由なときは解放位置にある遠位端を有するコレットを含み、さらに、コレットに 係合するカラー及びカラーに係合し、コレットをつかみ位置に付勢するバネ手段 を含む、請求の範囲1に記載の装置。 4. 前記ハウジング内に前記コレットを支持するための軸受手段を備え、前記 軸受手段は、そこに形成された少なくとも3つの外方に延びる突出部を有し 、さらにハウジングによって支持され、前記突出部を受け、前記軸受をハウジン グ内で回転させる手段を備える、請求の範囲3に記載のコネクタ。 5. 前記ハウジングは、外部ハウジング及び内部ハウジングを含み、前記接触 部材は、上部タブ部分及び下部タブ部分を有し、前記内部ハウジングは、前記上 部タブ部分及び前記下部タブ部分を受けるためのスロット手段を有し、前記接触 部材を固定位置及び内部ハウジング内に整列した状態に保持する、請求の範囲1 に記載のコネクタ。 6. 前記タブ手段は、それに固定された導電体とともに、内部ハウジングの外 部に延びる、請求の範囲5に記載のコネクタ。 7. バネ手段の力に対抗してカラーを押し、コレットを解放位置に動かすため の、回転コネクタを保持する手の指が係合するようになっている、カラーに取り 付けられたノーズ部品を備えた、請求の範囲3に記載のコネクタ。 8. 前記ノーズは、コレットに係合するようになっているカム面を備え、コレ ットを解放位置に通じさせる、請求の範囲7に記載のコネクタ。
