Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.透明なフェースプレートと、発光画素のパターンを持つ表示スクリーンと後 壁とを備える真空包体を有する画像表示装置であって、該装置が電子発生手段と 、該手段と前記フェースプレートとの間に配置されて所望の画素をアドレスする アドレス系と、前記表示スクリーンに隣接し且つ電気的絶縁材料からなり電子を 通過させるための開口を備えるスペーサプレートとを有し、動作時には前記スペ ーサプレートの厚さの間に電圧差が存在するような画像表示装置において、 前記スペーサプレートの表面が少なくとも5kVの電圧差において前記表示 スクリーンから後方散乱された電子による二次電子放射を防止又は最小化するよ うに処理されていることを特徴とする画像表示装置。 2.請求項1に記載の画像表示装置において、前記表面上に粒子特性を持つ被覆 が設けられていることを特徴とする画像表示装置。 3.透明なフェースプレートと、発光画素のパターンを持つ表示スクリーンと後 壁とを備える真空包体を有する画像表示装置であって、該装置が電子発生手段と 、該手段と前記フェースプレートとの間に配置されて所望の画素をアドレスする アドレス系と、前記表示スクリーンに隣接し且つ電気的絶縁材料からなり電子を 通過させるための開口を備えるスペーサプレートとを有し、動作時には前記スペ ーサプレートの厚さの間に電圧差が存在するような画像表示装置において、 前記スペーサプレートの表面がイットリウム、クロム、タンタルの窒化物、 ホウ化物、炭化物、酸化物を含む群から選択された被覆により被覆されているこ とを特徴とする画像表示装置。 4.透明なフェースプレートと、発光画素のパターンを持つ表示スクリーンと後 壁とを備える真空包体を有する画像表示装置であって、該装置が電子発生手段と 、該手段と前記フェースプレートとの間に配置されて所望の画素をアドレスする アドレス系と、前記表示スクリーンに隣接し且つ電気的絶縁材料からなり電子を 通過させるための開口を備えるスペーサプレートとを有し、動作時には 前記スペーサプレートの厚さの間に電圧差が存在するような画像表示装置におい て、 前記スペーサプレートの表面が、窒化物又はオキシ窒化物及び/又は金属酸 化物を含み且つ二次電子放射係数δmaxの値が3.5以下特に3未満であり、電気 抵抗が1012Ω/□以上特に1013Ω/□以上であるような被覆により被覆され ていることを特徴とする画像表示装置。 5.請求項3又は4に記載の表示装置において、前記被覆が窒化シリコン又は窒 化アルミニウムを含む群から選択されていることを特徴とする画像表示装置。 6.請求項3又は4に記載の表示装置において、前記被覆がCr2O3及び/又は Y2O3を含むことを特徴とする画像表示装置。 7.請求項3又は4に記載の表示装置において、前記被覆が粒子特性を有するこ とを特徴とする画像表示装置。 8.請求項2又は7に記載の表示装置において、前記被覆が吹き付け処理、浸漬 処理又はカーテン吹き付け処理を含む群から選択された処理を用いて懸濁液から 形成されることを特徴とする画像表示装置。 9.請求項2又は7に記載の表示装置において、前記被覆が光粘着処理を用いて 形成されることを特徴とする画像表示装置。 10.請求項1、3又は4に記載の表示装置において、前記スペーサプレートがlo gR≧10に従う電気抵抗R(単位Ωcm)を持つ材料からなることを特徴とする 画像表示装置。
