Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)実質的にフリーのホルムアルデヒドを有さず、水含量が4〜8%であり 、40℃での粘度が5,000cps〜40,000cps(5〜40Pa・s)の範囲 であるフェノール・ホルムアルデヒド・レゾール樹脂; (b)(i) 分子量が9,000を越えるが好ましくは15,000未満である エチレンオキサイド−プロピレンオキサイドのブロック共重合体と(ii)以下の式 で表されるエトキシル化アルキルフェノールとのブレンドを含有する界面活性剤 (式中、Rは炭素原子を1〜20個有するアルキル基であり、xは4〜120の範 囲の整数である。); (c)発泡剤;及び (d)触媒の発泡成分を提供する工程、 この成分を混合し発泡を開始してレゾール発泡体を製造する工程、及び レゾール発泡体を8.009〜48.055kg/m3(0.5〜3.0ポンド/ 立方フィート)の範囲の密度に硬化させる工程を有する独立気泡レゾール発泡体 の製造方法。 2.共重合体:アルキルフェノールのブレンドが、重量比で75:25〜25:75の範 囲である請求項1記載の方法。 3.界面活性剤のブレンドが、共重合体とアルキルフェノールとを同重量部で含 有する請求項1載の方法。 4.共重合体が、分子量10,000−13,000であり、アルキルフェノー ルが、xが30〜50の範囲であるエトキシル化ドデシルフェノールである請求項1 記載の方法。 5.発泡剤が、(i)低沸点水素化クロロフルオロカーボン(HCFC)又は水素 化フルオロカーボン(HFC)及び(ii)全発泡剤重量の1〜5重量%で含有す るパーフルオロアルカンから本質的になる請求項1記載の方法。 6.パーフルオロアルカンが、全発泡剤重量の1〜2重量%で含有する請求項5 記載の方法。 7.フェノール発泡体の密度が、11.213〜28.833kg/m3(0.7〜 1.8ポンド/立方フィート)の範囲である請求項1記載の方法。 8.パーフルオロアルカンが、式Cn Hx Fy (式中、nは4〜20の範囲の整数 であり、Xはゼロ又は2〜10の整数であり、x+y=2n+2である。)で表さ れる請求項5記載の方法。 9.発泡剤が、1-クロロ−1,1-ジフルオロエタン及びドデカフルオロペンタン の混合物である請求項1記載の方法。 10.レゾール樹脂が、40℃での粘度8,000cps〜20,000cps(8〜2 0Pa・s)の範囲である請求項1記載の方法。 11.HCFC又はHFCが、0℃以下の沸点を有する請求項5記載の方法。
