Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.1種又はそれ以上のビニリデン芳香族単量体を重合条件下で触媒的に有効な 量の (1)式 CpmMXnX’p (式中、Cpは、単一のη5−シクロペンタジエニル又はη5−置換シクロペンタ ジエニル基であり、 Mは、+3酸化状態の周期律表の4族又はランタニド列の金属であり、 Xは、それぞれの場合、OR(式中、RはC1-20ヒドロカルビルである)であり 、 X’は、不活性の中性の供与体リガンドであり、 m及びpは、独立して0又は1であり、 nは、2より大きい又はそれに等しい整数であり、そして m及びnの合計は、3である) に相当する金属コンプレックス、 (2)不活性な非配位アニオンを含むカチオン形成性活性化共触媒、そして (3)有機金属ヒドロカルビル化剤 を含む触媒と、モノビニリデン芳香族単量体:金属コンプレックスのモル比が1 00:1から1×1010:1であり、ヒドロカルビル化剤:金属コンプレックス のモル比が2:1から100:1にて接触させることを特徴とするビニリデン芳 香族単量体のシンジオタクチック重合体を製造する方法。 2.ビニリデン芳香族単量体が、式 (式中、それぞれのR*は、独立して水素、1−10個の炭素原子を有する脂肪 族、脂環式、又は芳香族炭化水素基、又はハロゲン原子である) により表される請求項1の方法。 3.ビニリデン芳香族単量体が、スチレンである請求項2の方法。 4.Cpが、式 (式中、R’は、それぞれの場合、独立して水素、ハロゲン、R、N−R2、P −R2、OR、SR又はBR2(但し、Rは、前記同様である)であるか、又は隣 接するR’ヒドロカルビル基の1又は2個の組は、ともに結合して縮合環系を形 成する) に相当する請求項1の方法。 5.Mがチタンである請求項1の方法。 6.Cpが、η5−シクロペンタジエニル又はη5−ペンタメチルシクロペンタジ エニルであり、mが1であり、nが2であり、pが零であり、XがC1-4アルコ キシである請求項5の方法。 7.触媒が、ペンタメチルシクロペンタジエニルチタンC1-4ジアルコキシド又 はシクロペンタジエニルチタンC1-4ジアルコキシド、C1-4アルミニウムトリア ルキル及びトリメチルアンモニウムテトラキスパーフルオロフェニルボレート、 N、N−ジメチルアニリニウムテトラキスパーフルオロフェニルボレート、銀テ トラキスパーフルオロフェニルボレート又はフェロセニウムテトラキスフルオロ フェニルボレートの反応生成物を含む請求項1の方法。 8.触媒が、ペンタメチルシクロペンタジエニルチタントリメトキシド、トリn −プロピルアルミニウム及びN、N−ジメチルアニリニウムテトラキスペンタフ ルオロフェニルボレートの反応生成物を含む請求項7の方法。
